Aroma: citrus fruits, peaches. Appearance no head. Body light reddish gold. Flavored sparkling water. Final very slightly bready, mild soapy presences. Palate: aqueous and effervescent anything special. A mediocre beer compared to the price in my country (Guatemala). On the surface appears to be different but the taste the descara as AmBev Anyone. Aroma: frutos cítricos, durazno. Apariencia nada de cabeza. Cuerpo claro dorado rojizo. Sabor agua con gas. Final ligerísimamente a pan, leves presencias jabonosas. Paladar: acuoso y efervescente nada en especial. Una cerveza bastante mediocre comparada con el precio en mi país (Guatemala). En apariencia parece ser diferente pero el sabor la descara como una AmBev Cualquiera.

A very average Dutch lager really from a Dutchy who has downed a few lagers, good and bad, in the lowlands during my time living there. This one is definitely not a brew to write home about, but it is drinkable, just.

500ml can, pours pale gold with little aroma, mildly sweet but watery flavours with a slightly bitter finish, an average lager overall

Can. Pours a golden body, with a large white frothy head that diminishes very quickly, leaving almost no lace. No aroma whatsoever. Medium bitter taste, notes of malts and skunk. Averagec carbonation, light body, watery texture. Another crappy eurolager.

500ml white can from Scotts Supermarket, Malta. This contains only barley malt, yet has the same cereal flavour as those lagers which contain corn or other cereals. It’s not the type of starch that really matters so much as the quality and the brewing. This smells of plastic, and is generally not very nice. Perhaps it’s a watered down high abv lager - there are strong and ultra strong version of this brand, so it’s possible they just make one ultra strong version, and then water it down for the other two. Anyway, you can drink it - just that it’s not enjoyable, and you wouldn’t want to buy it again unless there were little choice, even though it’s cheap.

A eurolager, and not a terribly good example either. It looks clean and clear but with nil head, flabby sparkle and a bit of a watery nothing flavour. Tick in the box I suppose, but certainly not worth coming back to.

500 ml can bought at ParkNShop Superstore in Fanling.

Dull golden yellow color; One quarter finger head and soapy white foam which fades in 20 seconds; Minimal lacing with active carbonation; Sweet smell of light malt, light bread, hint of grains, syrup, very faint citrus and light grass; Mid to light sweet taste of thin malt, with grains, strong wet cardboard, chalk, light syrup, very light lemon and hint of grass; Light body, watery palate; Mouth feel is thin macro with strong off-tasting cardboard and some chalk in a watery syrup background. Sigh… Hoppiness is close to zero lemon and lemony nose, very low citrus and some notable grass taste, and trace of bitterness, not much for a finish; Wet after taste, very easy to mouth.

Comments: It’s a wishy-washy macro Pale alright, slightly better than the likes of Tsintaos and Yanjings with only traces of grains / adjuncts, but was ruined by presence of chalky wet cardboard, and quite sweet, too. Not exactly a drain pours, but I have no interest to finish the remaining two-third of the can.
