Slightly bitter, mild, with a fragrance of hops - our pilsner is a cut above the ordinary. A beer with character.

12 ounce bottle. Clear golden and a lot of carbonation rising rapidly. A white head leaves thick lacing. The aroma is skunk and a bit unpleasant. Fruit under that is fruit cocktail. A little sulfur, too. The flavor also has sulfur along with that fruit. Rich and sweet malts. The flavor is an improvement over the aroma. Spice and some grain. Earth and sugary notes. Sugary spiciness to the finish. I ended up liking this. Appearance and aroma will pull my score down.

Goud helder bier met een goede witte schuim kraag. Ruikt hop, fruitig. Iets te fruitig. Smaakt als een pilsner, muf, hop.

Classic pils - clean and crisp, slight bread and perfume in the nose. Slightly sweet and ever so slightly bitter flavor.

500ml bottle. Straw gold. Well carbonated, good crisp clean mouthfeel and palate. Good for the style - just not my favourite style. But for a hot day or BBQ with mild seafoods - all good.

On tap at P&P Charleston. Clear golden with small white head. Aroma is light malt, light body, low carbonation, and good small-bubble lacing. Taste is light malt and light soapy hops. Pretty bland.

Many thanks for this beer to kevnic2008. piwo swietnie wygladajace ladna zlocista barwa piana trwala i puszysta. Mnostwo babelkow. Zapach kukurydzy słodkiej, jabłka i trawy cytrynowej. Smak lekki orzezwiajacy lekko slodowy i lekko gorzki. Ogolnie jest sporo lepiej niż przy ostatnim piwie od Weihenstephan po którym się bardzo rozczarowałem. Klasyczny i jakościowy Pilsner

Not exactly a great beer for some grand analysis but I would definitely drink this at the beach happily. Drinkability is very high. Straw gold color with not much of a head. Lively carbonation with streaming bubbles buzzing up towards the top rather nicely. Light bodied with a slightly bready aroma that doesn’t do much. The malt imparts a gentle sweetness to it that the hops can’t overcome in bitterness. The aftertaste is very clean with seemingly low bitterness.

(Weihenstephaner Pilsner) Bottle 500 ml at home as Weihenstephaner Pils, served into a lager glass, ABV 5.1% Golden yellow colour on the body, clear, with lazy activity in it and a good sized but a bit thin white head sitting on top. Good retention. Aroma of malts and hay, taste follows but more clean, some grass in there too, with light bitter finish. Medium thin body, good carbonation. Nice thirst quencher and high drinkability.
