Aug 27, 2008 500ml bottle from Beaumont Market in Portland, OR--Poured a rich golden-copper body with a small white head. Nose of grainy sweet malts and grassy hops. Residual sweetness with a bitter bite in the end. Smooth and drinkable, nice mouthfeel. Decent but missing something.

Aug 20, 2008 A nice golden color with good carbonation and a small head. It smells of grains and malt with just a hint of hops. Not the best Octoberfest I have but no so bad either. It is smooth but just a bit too smooth and a bit skunked-like.

Aug 16, 2008 2008 Flour City Brewfest. I was a little disapointed by this one after all the good ones I had from this brewer before. The hops did not apeal to me.

Aug 15, 2008 Blah. A terrible Oktoberfest. Aroma was stale lager with some biscuit. Pour was a very disappointing light gold with no head. I’ve never had an O/M this light. Taste was very sugary and sweet. Tasted like a Budweiser with some sugar dumped in it. Honey and metal in the aftertaste.
