4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
This was poured into a mug (correct/traditional glassware, screw that proper glassware bs).
Anyways, the appearance was a clear yellow color with a big transparency about it allowing a light carbonation rising to fill a light one finger white foamy head that dissipated nicely. Light rings of foaminess stick nicely.
The smell had a big "corn-like" sweetness rolling into sly grassiness. There’s a sweet corn-like aftertaste and a semi-dry finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a purely awesome sessionability about it. Smooth creamy bliss rolls over my tongue.
Overall, best Oktoberfest I’ve ever had. Smell and taste are right on spot. This is what every brewer hopes to brew for the style. Weihenstephaner does it again.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pale yellow. Sweet nose. Sweet pils flavor but the malt breaks it up a bit and it tastes like a decent pils just with added sweetness.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On draft. Clear golden color with one finger head. Sweet malty aroma, grassy. Taste is similar, easy to drink and not too sweet. Different than what I expect from the style.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle at home. Pours a clear pale yellow, little head with no retention. Aroma is straw, grass, light spice and faint malts. Taste is faint honey and caramel, grass, straw, faint spice. A little bland. Light body and medium carbonation. Better options exist in this style.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from giant eagle new Albany. Figure the beer would be better since it's the worlds oldest brewery. Nose is cereal and mild. Lighter body and smooth. Banana and cereal and clove notes. Mild carbonation that goes well. Not horrid but would look for another.
