2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a golden color with decent off white head. Big malt aroma and slight hop backbone. Lots of malt flavor up front and mild hop bitterness in the finish. Some mild astringency and alcohol on the finish. Overall, a little on the sweet side.

Classic marzen. A must try but don’t expect greatness. Smooth and easy to drink. Slightly sweet. Good brew for a fall day.

Draught at the temple bar, tel aviv. Clear bright gold with a white head. Rich grainy aroma, a little toasty. Delicate bitterness, crispy and nice. Medium body, fizzy and short, bitter finish.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Crystal clear pale yellow with a foamy white head propelled by fairly vigorous fine bubbled carbonation. Fairly standard but good German lager aroma. Light creamy texture with a biscuit malt flavor and a bit of corn in the back with some light sweetness. Good earthy hop balance and the light bitterness hangs around. Light, easy drinking and maybe a bit thin, but a very good Oktoberfest lager overall.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Appearance was clear golden with huge white lasting creamy 3 finger head, rings of lacing. Aromas are sweet pils malts with grassy, herbal, spicey hops. Taste are sweet creamy smooth malt base upfront then gives way to earthy herbal spicey tangy hops. Palate was soft creamy smooth CO2 with light body, then spicey herbal smooth balanced finish. Not the best Marzan brew, but a standard for sure.

Festbier has a nice golden amber color, smooth start and a crisp finish. An excellent beer for a fall afternoon or anytime for that matter.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tap: clear light-yellow pour with big, frothy white head. Nose is of malt syrup, hay, bread, and a touch of tart grass. Flavor is thick with malt, some sweet caramel, and bread. This beer seems rather sweet but not overly so, was easy to drink, but very filling. Just enough flavor mix to make this a decent Octoberfest beer.

Woefully under flavoured - a bit boring - disappointing - won’t have again - come on chaps, you can do better than this!
