COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A full rich bodied, hoppy, seasonal lager. Especially brewed for the Festbier season. This beer truly represents the Bavarian way of celebrating. Deep gold color, great mouthfeel and lots of flavor. Prost!

Pours a clear golden orange on tap with thin white head. Aroma is caramel and toffee notes, slight yeast, taste follows, thin and crisp. Easy to drink but mediocre.

UPDATED: APR 8, 2014 Bottle: Murky, golden color with a huge, yeast-like haze throughout. Head is smooth, off-white, and lasts for many minutes atop the muddled brew. Aroma is like smelling sweet, fresh baked bread. Packed with bready malts; sweet and toasty with a light underbody of grains and very mild caramel. Only a light touch of musty Noble hops. Each sip is light bodied, crisp, and fresh. Hops are much more present on the palate - definitely of the Noble variety with home bitterness, mustiness, and an earthy character to them. Toasted bread malts, much less caramel, and not as sweet as the nose would lead you to believe. Very, very faint touch of toasted bread and toffee in the finish. Finishes crisp, dry, and clean.

I drank this with an Oktoberfestbier label, according to Ratebeer it’s the same beer as their Winter Festbier. Guess this would explain the pale golden color, light body, not at all what I expected.

Poured as a taster at the local bottle shop. Typical oktoberfest style, pretty good mouth feel, okay malt flavor. Not my favorite oktoberfest, but okay.

Goldden with a large, quickly diminishing white head. Earthy, light hoppy, light malt aroma. Taste light sweet with short duration. Oily texture, light carbonation. Fairly standard lager to be honest.

Drank on draft and out of a bottle the following day. Not blown away by the taste. Subtle but definitely complexity is there. Earthy, light, mild wheat. Good not great

Smells like pond water after a fish kill, doesn't taste much better. Quite disappointed. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle shared by Two Sack Dave during a brewday .. . Pours a dirty hazed apple juice .. Medium head, spotty lacing .. . Some caramel and raw grain .. . Pretty good but was expecting a bit more from this brewery .. . . This dirt nap you speak of sounds pleasant i must say!

Golden color, aroma of earth, grass and leaves. Similar taste but sweet with toasted malt. Not a bad Oktoberfest flavor. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
