2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Head: white, medium, creamy, avg. retention. Colour: pale yellow, clear.
Aroma: very faint malty aroma.
Taste: dry, malty, moderate bitterness with a peppery finish.
Quite disappointing; would expect more malty and hoppy character.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle 50cl: clear, clear, pale yellow gold. Light white frothy head. Light malted estery nose. Slight stale bottle or green hops edge or something flat. ,edium light sweetness. Low bitterness and not sour. Nice medium weight. Balanced and fresh but sweet finish. Refreshing bit with depth and length. More subdued and technical than envy thing you would see from the US.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Blue Max, crystal clear golden pour, fizzed out of the bottle. Aroma of grain, bready and a bit of sweet corn. Taste is mostly grain and mouth feel is a bit sharp from carbonation.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
A: Wheaty. Almost a little stale funk: No bottled on date but I would think since it’s a seasonal it would be fresh?
A: Looks nice. Light. Bubbles are fun in the weisen glass. Light rice gold.
T: Tastes better than it smells, but nothing mind blowing. A subtle wheaty note. Super light. Easy drinking. A little funky. A little sweet finish. Balanced... but also very light. So take that for what it is.
P: Light. Watery. Little flavor development. Carbonation is smooth and spot on though.
Overall this is a rather boring beer. Nothing wrong but it is super super light. Drinks a bit too much like water. It goes down smooth but at what cost? I would have to think this would be an excellent choice for "das boot"

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a decent head that fades to bits of lacing. Aroma of malt sweetness, fresh grain and mild citrus in the background. Taste of a light malt sweetness, some grain and bit of citrus in the background. Has a mild bitterness and a very clean finish. Fairly light body, crisp, clean and quite refreshing. Has a nice balance. Enjoyable beer for the style. It looks a bit like a typical Oktoberfest, but it is still quite flavorful

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Aroma: Really reminds me more of a Helles or even a Pilsener- the nose is met by noble, grassy hops with some slightly sweet grains. Appearance: Bright, transparent gold body with a solid, bubbly white head. Flavor: More full flavored than the nose suggests; the sweetness of the malts linger a bit more than the initial hop character and concludes with a pervasive dryness. Palate: Medium body, sticky texture, soft carbonation, abrupt finish. Overall: Not the beer to buy if you are looking for a more typical Oktoberfest, but a nicely done lager of the German tradition.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours clear light yellow with white head and no lacing. Aroma of malts and very light smoke. Taste is malty with more hops than I expected. Also a little skunky.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Tap@pikkis. Pale golden. Pale pilsner malty, soft but quite common flavour-wise. Can’t find anything that special about it. Goes down easy.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a clear straw golden with a thick eggshell head that leaves some nice thick dripping lace. Nose involves some fresh hoppy citrus notes, spice, doughy yeast, and cellar notes. Somewhat sweet, fairly bitter. Light-medium body, creamy, tingly, with a nice bitter hop finish. Very light in color for a marzen, but a nice drinkable brew.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Golden with a white head. Looks like a hellesbier and not a marzen. Sweet malty nose with a touch of beeswax. flavor is very reminiscent of a helles bock. Malty without being too sweet. I really like this beer but stylistically it seems quite out of the norm.
