COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A full rich bodied, hoppy, seasonal lager. Especially brewed for the Festbier season. This beer truly represents the Bavarian way of celebrating. Deep gold color, great mouthfeel and lots of flavor. Prost!

This beer has lost its edge. The latest bottles I bought were super fresh (use by May 13). Just grassy, dry and lacking any character. It used to be hoppy, lemony, flowery, clean and crisp.

From Gene’s. Due to the bready sweetness more like a heller bock. Not super. Serving: Bottle

UPDATED: AUG 18, 2016 330mL bottle. Pours a clear yellow with a large white head. Skunky, bread aroma. Tastes of sweet malt with a mildly bitter hop finish. Very unpleasant finish and yeasty aftertaste. Average carbonation. Full, rich mouthfeel. Finishes more like a bad pilsner than a marzen.

Pours clear blonde with a quick frothy white head. Nose is Bavarian hops and a touch of tart fruit malt. Flavor is similar and very clean. Finish is slight and sweet. Very drinkable but not a lot going on.

Bottle, poured into stein. Simple beer and very easy to drink. Nice malty flavor, biscuit, bread, caramel. Minimal bitterness, but nicely balanced sweetness. Not my go to beer, but happy to drink this at any festival.

Pours a clear golden color. Dusty hay bread malt aroma and flavor with a suitable amount of hops bitterness and a short finish.

On tap at BrewDog Shepherds Bush, clear gold lasting white head best looking beer of the day no doubt. It smells like your typical marzen. Sweetish lager malty with some hop. Good drinkability in the mouth. Some hop character. Some malt sweetness. Like sweet straw. Once you adjust to it it’s pretty good. Hoppy finish. Yes It Won Me Over

Bottle at Beerville, Belgrade. Clear lemony pour, small white foam. Light blueberry, forest fruit and honey. Very fruity sip, some richer alcohol. Full, round, clean flavor. A touch of lagering sour. Tasty.
