Bottled fro Asda, Leamington Spa. Yellow gold with light head. Light malty beer with just the faintest hints of spiciness lingering in the background. There is a citric, lemony foreground, some hops and a gentle carbonation. It’s fine and went well with a Chinese Takeaway.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 hopscotch (8242) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - APR 22, 2007
Bottle... Clear, pale yellow lager with a large, creamy, white head. Decent retention. The nose is sweet and floral with heavy notes of orange blossom honey. Sweet, honeysuckle flavor with barely enough bitterness to prevent this malt bomb from becoming downright cloying. Medium-bodied with a mildly creamy mouthfeel and fizzy carbonation. Lightly sweet finish.

Medium golden yellow with lacy white head. Notes of citrus, flavor of malt with a hint of grapefruit and banana. More bitter than the wheat. Typically less adventurous festival style beer.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 pivnizub (8046) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - DEC 25, 2007
Bottle: Pale and greenish-golden with a persistent frothy head, unexpected aroma: distinctive aromatic, a bit grassy hops, completed by some fruity grains; quite dry, moderate bitter flavour, rather light bodied for a beer of 5.8%; moderate bitterness, sweet malt and some aromatic hops, not to forget the tinge of vanilla, in the finish. More a "Pils de luxe" than a Festbier.......
3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 MoritzF (7835) - Bochum, GERMANY - JAN 6, 2008
(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a big, but not very persistent foamy white head. Moderately sweet, pale malty, slightly grainy aroma with a mineralic touch, traces of honey and citrousy, slightly herbal hops. Pale malt character, strawy and lightly grainy taste, light-sweet flavour, medium to light body, smooth and soft carbonation; strawy pale malt character with faint notes of honey; moderately sweet and light bitter finish. Alcoholic notes are also detectable. A hardly decent Helles with Märzen-strength. They do the top-fermented brews much better.
