3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Much lighter appearance than I thought I was going to get. Pleasantly surprised great Oktoberfest taste with a lighter after taste than most. Feels much more drinkable than most

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Lost review from last fall. Neither the tastiest nor easiest to spell Oktoberfest beer. Pale gold, sweet and biscuity.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Poured from a chilled 11.2 ounce, brown glass bottle into a dimpled glass; 1st impression was of the cloudy golden hues emanating; thin head; an initial, mild skunky taste soon dissipating into a quick hopped, first, 2nd a maltiness.
The 6 pack container has on it a photograph of 4 nuns, sitting in the sun at what looks like a garden table, laughing and of course, enjoying a beer with mother superior’s glass already empty.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured from 1 pint, .9 ounce bottle labeled "Weihenstephaner Oktoberfest", purchased at Jeff’s Marathon, tasted on October 3, 2014. Medium gold hue, malty nose with slight skunkiness, light to moderate bittersweet toasted malt flavor which could be more robust. This might have been a bit old--would revisit this, preferably on draft.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Poured into a tumbler on 10.2013.
A: Light gold. Frothy head.
T: Grainy. Also getting some bitterness. Malty aftertaste.
O: This is a good märzen, but it’s not my favorite. It is a a solid example of the style, though.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Fin slightly better log almost a full yellow pale in the van color not very cloudy little see-through. Does not deliver a big head. Definitely a Bavarian Oktoberfest in contrast to the Americans that's a richer flavor with the duppel bach color. Drinking this from a 1 pint .9 fluid ounce bottle labeled Oktoberfest beer a nice subtle refreshing lager for the autumn season.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured from bottle to glass. Golden straw hue with thick fizzy white head. Aroma is bread, cereal, slight sulphur, slight clove. Mouthfeel is great with a light body and crisp carbonation. Taste is dry throughout with a spicy hop following and slight sulphur finish. Overall this is a quite enjoyable Oktoberfest brew.
