A full rich bodied, hoppy, seasonal lager. Especially brewed for the Festbier season. This beer truly represents the Bavarian way of celebrating. Deep gold color, great mouthfeel and lots of flavor. Prost!

I drank this with an Oktoberfestbier label, according to Ratebeer it’s the same beer as their Winter Festbier. Guess this would explain the pale golden color, light body, not at all what I expected.

0,5 l NRW-Flasche aus der Brauerei in Weihenstephan. Klare, hellgoldene Farbe, schöne cremige Schaumkrone. Riecht eher süßlich, schmeckt süßlich, nach Weizen, nur leicht bitter. Nichts besonderes

330ml bottle, Israel. Exp date 22.7.2016. Poured into a wine glass: clear pale yellow-gold with one finger white head that mostly dissipates quickly. Slow carbonation streaming up from multiple points. Smell of crackers, biscuits, bread, some lemon skin. Smell is clean and refreshing, if on the fainter side. Taste is mildly sweet upfront, mildly bitter on the finish -- not particularly strong or complex, but it does sustain. Carbonation is average. Lacing is average. It’s a beer that works for a winter night indoors when a glass of cold white wine might otherwise be called for, but there’s nothing really memorable here. Decent.

This is a terrific lightweight Oktoberfest that opens with an aroma of baking bread and just a hint of a pine tree. Gently carbonated and a lightly bitter taste and finish. Well worth adding to the annual rotation of fest beers with which to fill the beer fridge.

Drank from a pilsner glass poured from a twelve ounce bottle. Pours a nice clear golden color with crisp refreshing lager taste and finish, good brew!

Pours a heavy straw hue, which is pretty pale for an Oktoberfest. Sweet lager and crisp pilsner finishes blend together. Mild Pils bitterness. Interesting and welcome honey notes emerge as the beer warms to room temperature. This brew should not be drank cold. It is considerably more exciting and agreeable at room temps.

11.2 oz bottle- Pours clear golden with a thin white head that reduces leaving a thin collar. Aroma is kind of skunky, European lagerish, not what i was expecting. The taste is Euro lager, crystal malt, grassy, better than the aroma, no skunk, minerals. Was expecting an Oktoberfest style beer, got a premium lager instead.

Bottle, 330ml. Pours light clear yellow with medium tall white head. Scent of canned corn, light malt, sprouting legumes, cooked. Mouth feel is light and watery to oily. Tastes nicely light sweet, with notable bitterness and sourness. Carbonation is medium. Flavors are gentle, of canned corn, light malt, honey, vegetal hops, cooked, very nice lager yeast flavors, floral notes, some astringency. Nice, light, fresh, crisp. Flavor is OK but not very interesting.
