A full rich bodied, hoppy, seasonal lager. Especially brewed for the Festbier season. This beer truly represents the Bavarian way of celebrating. Deep gold color, great mouthfeel and lots of flavor. Prost!

12oz picked up today at the COOP.. Poured into my small hefe glass 2" foamy head.. the brew is crystal clear straw golden. Nose is grainy pale malts with some very light spicy hoppiness... This is a pretty damn nice helles.. but completely in the wrong category for an octoberfest. Flavor mirrors the nose. pils malt with spicy/lightly floral hoppiness...

Lost review from last fall. Neither the tastiest nor easiest to spell Oktoberfest beer. Pale gold, sweet and biscuity.

Bottle, 500mL. Home. A pale golden beer with few bubbles ; medium white head witha poor retention. Grainy aroma, herb. Medium sweet, light dry bitter refreshing. Medium body, watery texture, average carbonation, short herbal finish. Overall, average drinkable german beer.

Poured from a chilled 11.2 ounce, brown glass bottle into a dimpled glass; 1st impression was of the cloudy golden hues emanating; thin head; an initial, mild skunky taste soon dissipating into a quick hopped, first, 2nd a maltiness. The 6 pack container has on it a photograph of 4 nuns, sitting in the sun at what looks like a garden table, laughing and of course, enjoying a beer with mother superior’s glass already empty.

Poured from 1 pint, .9 ounce bottle labeled "Weihenstephaner Oktoberfest", purchased at Jeff’s Marathon, tasted on October 3, 2014. Medium gold hue, malty nose with slight skunkiness, light to moderate bittersweet toasted malt flavor which could be more robust. This might have been a bit old--would revisit this, preferably on draft.

Poured into a tumbler on 10.2013. A: Light gold. Frothy head. S: Grainy. T: Grainy. Also getting some bitterness. Malty aftertaste. M: Smooth. O: This is a good märzen, but it’s not my favorite. It is a a solid example of the style, though.

Pours a slightly cloudy yellow with a thin white head. Weak aroma of hay. Taste is lightly sweet and floral with a hoppy finish.

Fin slightly better log almost a full yellow pale in the van color not very cloudy little see-through. Does not deliver a big head. Definitely a Bavarian Oktoberfest in contrast to the Americans that's a richer flavor with the duppel bach color. Drinking this from a 1 pint .9 fluid ounce bottle labeled Oktoberfest beer a nice subtle refreshing lager for the autumn season. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
