Commercial Description:
A full rich bodied, hoppy, seasonal lager. Especially brewed for the Festbier season. This beer truly represents the Bavarian way of celebrating. Deep gold color, great mouthfeel and lots of flavor. Prost!

1 pt .9 oz bottle. I am rather indifferent to the aroma, it doesn’t necessarily please or displease me, dry, burnt pale and caramel malt, and straw grain hop. Ok pour, though head retention is pretty weak, lots of carbonation, semi-watery looking, golden-corn yellow color. Not bad tasting, though this is not my favorite style of beer, basically a stronger dry-roasted caramel and German lager malt presence on top of a crisp, straw-type hop that lingers pretty well, and a has a pretty good feel to it overall. Not too bad, though not too great.

Hazy yellow, thick white head, nice retention. Off / iron taste in palate, dry light hoppy finish, simple and boring lager.

Banana yellow with a small white head. Aroma of malt, toasted malt, dust and skunk. Taste of malt, nuts and toasted malt. Finish is sweet and off. Pretty bad example of the style.

Crushed with Jakebra. Soft fruity nose coming out of a cloudy, pee-colored beer. Confused. This brew is pretty aight, though one would assume the "world’s oldest brewery" would know a thing or two about beer.

Pours pale gold with a full white head. Aroma is muted - maybe some wet breadiness. Taste is sweet pale malt - some caramel and mild hops.

A yellow straw color with a thin white head that had nice retention. Aroma was of mainly corn notes but had some lingering sweetness. Flavor was similar to a pale lager with mostly unpleasant corn-like malt notes. Finish was watery.
