A full rich bodied, hoppy, seasonal lager. Especially brewed for the Festbier season. This beer truly represents the Bavarian way of celebrating. Deep gold color, great mouthfeel and lots of flavor. Prost!

This hardly resembles a marzen and isn’t really something I would come back to. It’s gold, it’s much more bitter than it should be, very grassy and astringent.

Pours a clear yellow with a big white head that dissolves in to a thin ring with some surface foam and little spot lacing. Nose is slight malt. Body is medium light. Taste is sweet malt with slight bitter aftertaste. Bottled on 8/3/15 Half Liter Bottle More cans!

Bottle, poured into stein. Simple beer and very easy to drink. Nice malty flavor, biscuit, bread, caramel. Minimal bitterness, but nicely balanced sweetness. Not my go to beer, but happy to drink this at any festival.

On tap at BrewDog Shepherds Bush, clear gold lasting white head best looking beer of the day no doubt. It smells like your typical marzen. Sweetish lager malty with some hop. Good drinkability in the mouth. Some hop character. Some malt sweetness. Like sweet straw. Once you adjust to it it’s pretty good. Hoppy finish. Yes It Won Me Over

Bottle at Beerville, Belgrade. Clear lemony pour, small white foam. Light blueberry, forest fruit and honey. Very fruity sip, some richer alcohol. Full, round, clean flavor. A touch of lagering sour. Tasty.

Aroma - little spicy and grassy. Appearance - pale yellow body with good nucleation. The head is about 1" and white settles slowly. Taste - Saaz hops and some caramel malt, well balanced. Palate - the body is light, carbonation average, and finish appropriately bittered.

Clear pale yellow color with small white head. Wtf, festbier? Aroma is sweet grains, not too cellar-like. Hints of honey maybe. Taste the same. Not bad per se, but what does this have to do with a Festbier?
