COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Nothing refreshes you more than this naturally cloudy wheat beer with its wonderful yeasty fragrance and taste. Goes well with dishes that do not have too intensive a flavour, especially that Bavarian speciality 'Weisswurst' or white sausage.

Transfering data from personal beer file. I drank this beer a long time ago. I’ll update this rating if I have the chance to drink it again.

Smells kind of bad. There’s clove and maybe banana, but the thing smells like hell. It has a sour aftertaste and even some astringency. On tap at Beer bistro

Bottle. Cloudy yellow haze. One finger foam. Basement notes. Sour bitterness. Medium finish. A classic hefe. Nice brew.

500ml bottle at Jerry’s Old Town. Pours a cloudy, yellow color with a huge white head. Aroma is yeasty, banana, clove. Medium on the palate with soft carbonation. Flavor is sweet, clove, wheat, banana, with a sweet clove finish. Excellent.

Very lively on pouring. Thick creamy head. Pale yellow and cloudy. Aromas yeasty and herbal with strong scents of cloves, coriander and lemon grass. Bitter and flowery in taste with a lasting clove aftertaste.

On tap at Jackie-Os, served in a pint glass for $5. Had an enormous head while the bar tender was pouring it, it took a while to do properly. When I got it, the super-foamy thick white head was still a half inch thick, with another half inch bulging out from the top of the glass. Color is a mostly hazy gold. Really, a nice-looking hefeweizen. Good, even sheets of lace. Really crisp carbonation, on the lighter side. Great texture, nice and dry, easy drinking. Great clove aroma. Banana, vanilla in there too, with the wheat. Taste is kinda neutral, but enjoyable. Slight tart-sweetness, and malty clove-spiciness, beyond that. Excellent hefe, it certainly met my expectations.

Bottle. A very good Hefeweizen. Lemon and clove with mild sweetness. Smooth with good carbonation. Dry finish. Tasty.
