jvmiller (532), Bel Air, Maryland, USA May 30, 2009 Yeasty, slightly fruity, light hazy yellow color. Flavor is crisp, light overall. Refreshing. Doesn’t seem very complex, but good overall. mickmac (67), Ngunnawal, Australia May 30, 2009 Pours from the bottle with a huge white rocky head and a hazey yellow-amber colour. Well balanced wheat bear flavours cloves and banana/bubble gum. A lively carbonation gices the beer a nice crisp mouthfeel. Nice. shawnm213 (884), South Bend, Indiana, USA May 30, 2009 on tap at fiddlers hearth. pleasantly surprised with this one. pours a hazy orange. lemon, citrusy fruits. spices, wheat, and yeast. Aroma is of fruits, citrus, spice, grass. and malt. Aroma smells very refreshing and inviting. Taste starts off with lots of assorted fruit flavors up front. Delicious spiciness with lots of citrus in the body. Each sip finishes with a load of wheat and yeast. Lingering citrus taste. Very light body that drinks very easy. Well-balanced, and very refreshing. I liked it. thewombat (112), Brooklyn, New York, USA May 27, 2009 Aroma is spicy banana city. Creamy carbonation. Unfiltered apricot color. A bubbly very smooth beer with a hoppy slightly bitter finish, and that seltzer-y mouth tingle. very refreshing, fruity and light. WVHouseofBeer (341), Morgantown, West Virginia, USA May 27, 2009 Probably the best Hefeweizen I have tried. Found this gem at Leo’s in South Point, OH and I only had to wait for one of those summer scorchers to crack it open. The special yeast is the most noticeable part of this brew, with a heavy banana and clove presence that goes down like water and doesn’t coat the mouth. Almost like a Kolsch with a beautiful yeast strain. Two thumbs up. Lubiere (4463), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada May 23, 2009 A hazy orange gold weizen with a beautiful thick and frothy head. Aroma of bananas, cloves, cinnamon and light lemony notes. In mouth, a nice refreshing weizen with nice sweetness, fruity esters, more berries than bananas. Medium bodied. Bottle from LCBO.
