Jun 3, 2009 Tasted at Emmetts Tavern in West Dundee at their quarterly beer tasting. Pours a hazy golden color with a very thick white head. Aroma is light clove, slight ester profile is present, lots of yeast and wheat. Flavor is very well balance with the esters being light in the background with a slightly heavier clove but not overdone. There is a slight sweet wheat profile throughout the drink and the yeast really add a great flavor as well as help to carry the density of the brew. Overall a great hefe and one that I can image being even greater fresh or from the tap.

Jun 2, 2009 Draft at a party. Poured a hazy light orange with a thick white head. Aroma is sweet wheat with notes of banana, citrus, and yeast. On the palate, it is cabonated and refreshing. The flavor brings out a bit of clove and a few other spices. I am normally not a huge fan of a Hefeveizen, but this was exceptional. Thanks Gregg.

May 30, 2009 Pours a hazy golden with a large white head. Aroma is bananna cloves esthers ans malt as well as yeasts. Flavor is clove bananna esthers wheat , malt spices. Well balanced hefe.

May 30, 2009 Yeasty, slightly fruity, light hazy yellow color. Flavor is crisp, light overall. Refreshing. Doesn’t seem very complex, but good overall.

May 30, 2009 Pours from the bottle with a huge white rocky head and a hazey yellow-amber colour. Well balanced wheat bear flavours cloves and banana/bubble gum. A lively carbonation gices the beer a nice crisp mouthfeel. Nice.

May 28, 2009 On tap at Binnys South Loop. Pour golden with a big, fluffy white head. Lots of carbonation. Aroma is of fruits, citrus, spice, grass. and malt. Aroma smells very refreshing and inviting. Taste starts off with lots of assorted fruit flavors up front. Delicious spiciness with lots of citrus in the body. Each sip finishes with a load of wheat and yeast. Lingering citrus taste. Very light body that drinks very easy. Well-balanced, and very refreshing. I liked it.

May 27, 2009 Aroma is spicy banana city. Creamy carbonation. Unfiltered apricot color. A bubbly very smooth beer with a hoppy slightly bitter finish, and that seltzer-y mouth tingle. very refreshing, fruity and light.
