Commercial Description:
Nothing refreshes you more than this naturally cloudy wheat beer with its wonderful yeasty fragrance and taste. Goes well with dishes that do not have too intensive a flavour, especially that Bavarian speciality 'Weisswurst' or white sausage.

Hazy orange with a huge head. Aroma of pineapple, banana, wheat and bubble gum. The flavours are a bit more salty than the typical weiss and the fruit esters are bit more in the background. Nice, though.

Bottle 50cl. Pours an unclear golden ale with a big firm, offwhite head. The aroma is wheat, fruits and citrus. The flavor is wheat, malts and slight notes of bubblegum. The palate leaves some sweetness. Overall this is a good wheatbeer.

You can’t really improve on the commercial description. A tasty and refreshing beer with fruity undertones that goes well with a nice wurst.

Hazy yellow-orange pour with a nice white head. Aroma of sweet malts and citrus. Flavor is smooth of malts and a great orange flavor. Light to medium body with a really smooth texture.

Rich hazy orange/straw pour with the expected towering head. Aroma is mostly wheaty bread, then some banana and spicy cloves with a final hint of citrus. Personally I was expecting more from what I had heard about this beer. Wheat also dominates taste, but unfortunately not all that much of the banana and clove transfers through. Great mouthfeel, perhaps a bit too watery, but spot on carbonation. Very refreshing but it’d be good if it had a more banana/clove/bubblegum notes.

Pours a beautiful cloudy orange. The smell promises spiciness, which the taste delivers on: cloves, bananas, maybe allspice? Delicious and refreshing on a hot Alabama night!

Bottle. Golden yellow with tall white head. Aroma of clove, yeast, bread. Flavor of clove, banana, yeasty bread. One of the best next to New Glarus Imperial Weizen.

Draft, 22-APR-2009. Absolutely the best weiss I have had. It is so much better draft than on bottle. Cloudy with white head. Very spicy with lots of cinnamon. Super-weisse.
