One of the best Hefs I have had hands down. This would be great on a warm summer day with some beer brats. barleywine1 (11), Baltimore, Maryland, USA

Some light fruit on the nose, and the taste is This is such a refreshing beer; it begs to be sipped on a patio in the summer. One of my favorites. A little on the simple side when it comes to flavor, but always satisfying when you’re looking for something light. Pairs great with candied walnuts. zizzybalubba (356), Elizabeth City, North Carolina, USA

As far as hefeweizen’s go they don’t get much better than this. Thankfully this is easy to find because it is one of the best in it’s category. CheersMate1 (785), Atlanta, Georgia, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Apr 3, 2009 Huge fluffy head that sticks around for awhile. Nice looking translucent orange haze color. A very awesome looking beer. Huge yeast citrus aroma. This has a ridiculous aroma to it. A nice yeast hefeweizen smell. Jeez this aroma is pungent. Nice banana clove smell. Big on the yeast and banana flavor. A very good taste, but it is missing the spices. I think there could be more clove. Not as thick as I would like it. One of the best, if not the best german hefeweizen I have ever had. Overall, great beer. PJClarke (620), London, Greater London, England
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 5/5 | 14/20 | Apr 2, 2009 Big, hazy, golden and unmistakably German.
Loads of banana in the aroma which makes it quite a palpably thick smell. Citrus and coriander top-notes. Some lightly roasted caramel and cereal hidden back there too.
Very sweet and fruity. A tiny dry tingle deep in the throat brings some biscuity powderiness. Orange peel and juicy mango with very obvious yeast.
Lovely thick, whipped cream texture. An absolute pleasure to drink.

Smells of lemons, tastes of lemons and bananas. Lots of fragrance, lots of taste. A very drinkable session beer. elihapa (1044), Honolulu, California, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 15/20 | Apr 1, 2009 Bottle. Aroma of crisp wheat, banana, clove and a hint of cinnamon. Mouthfeel is full, yet crisp. Flavors dance across the palate, infusing a well-balanced flavors that are also present in the aroma. Nice yeast component as well. Finishes dry-yet-juicy, not bitter nor sweet. Simple, but well composed.
