Nothing refreshes you more than this naturally cloudy wheat beer with its wonderful yeasty fragrance and taste. Goes well with dishes that do not have too intensive a flavour, especially that Bavarian speciality 'Weisswurst' or white sausage.

0.5L bottle. Pours a cloudy pale yellow with a big, frothy white head. Aroma is classic weiss with banana and clove. Initial flavor is pleasantly skunky, quickly giving way to a nice malt sweetness followed by banana and citrus. A relatively long, skunky / sour linger that is typical of this style. Active carbonation with a cream mouthfeel and medium-full body. This is a prototypical Bavarian weissbier, and definitely one of my favorites.

50cl bottle thanks to ruigo. Color is golden pale and very cloudy, with a generous, creamy and consistent head. Medium to high carbonation, medium body. Complex aromas for a weissbier, beyond the traditional aroma of banana and clove, there is slightly citrus peel kind tangerine, wheat bread and yeast. Fresh taste, not too sweet and almost no bitterness. A really well balanced beer. I dare say that up to now has been the best weissbier I ever drank!

Bottle from Waitrose. Poured a perfect cloudy deep orange, with a large, thick white head. Excellent aroma, with all the best hef smells at the fore; banana, cloves, orange peal, peaches and yeast esters. Slight citrus bite in the flavour, lots of fruits with some wheat. Finish is bready malt, coriander and straw. Probably my favourite hef.

The body is cloudy and has an old gold or dark golden color with a tall white head on top. The head is thick and foamy, long lasting and makes spotty lacing on the glass. The nose is sweet and full of fruity yeast with notes of banana, bubble gum and wheat malt. There are bready and yeast flavors up front with banana notes and a touch of clove coming through. The finish has pleasant tangy wheat and very mild hop bitterness which give it some dryness. The palate has a refreshing, easy drinking medium body with nice active carbonation and a lively crisp texture.
