Nothing refreshes you more than this naturally cloudy wheat beer with its wonderful yeasty fragrance and taste. Goes well with dishes that do not have too intensive a flavour, especially that Bavarian speciality 'Weisswurst' or white sausage.

Universal characteristics of a hefeweizen, but WOW what a bold flavor. The mouthfeel is just about perfect for this sort of beer and the beer has just the right balance of spice and carbonation. This is a fantastic example of a hefeweizen and a winner in every way.

This beer is another winner from Weihenstephaner. Do they make anyting not worth drinking? Well, except their alcohol free beer of course.

Cloudy pale golden color with a big white head. Smooth, malty, banana flavored beer. Aromas of must, funk, yeast. Light bodied, refreshing flavors. Mainly fruit with some bitter hoppiness towards the end.

Hazy golden orange colour with a huge rocky head that fades to leave a constant finger size covering. Gorgeous banana, clove, spice aroma that never looses any of it’s heady power. Taste is more spice, a wonerfull wonderfull beer.

Hazy golden with a large white head. yeast and clove aroma. Clove in the taste as well, but also a strong overtone of breakfast cereal. No bitterness. Quite fizzy. Very good.

Straw-gold in the glass with a downright volatile, cloudy, light head. Lots of spice aromas and the smell of banana bread. Light, aromatic palate finishes soft and smooth, unlike lots of other hefes, this one finishes lemony, crisp and very very smooth. Flavors are closely integrated and balanced between fruit and grains. Classic and outstanding.

(Draught at Oliver Twist, Stockholm) Golden orange, pale amber colour, hazy, with brief white head. Fruity, estery, slightly yeasty nose with notes of banan, green apples, Seville orange, clove and coriander. Fruity, slightly yeasty taste with banana, tropical fruit, hints of chocolate and spicy notes of clove and coriander. Some wheaty sweetness throughout but drier and more strained than many other of the same style. Solid and tasty hefeweissen.

On draft at the Beerfestival at Viersen Germany. A nice Hefeweizen. One of the better beers of that day
