COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Nothing refreshes you more than this naturally cloudy wheat beer with its wonderful yeasty fragrance and taste. Goes well with dishes that do not have too intensive a flavour, especially that Bavarian speciality 'Weisswurst' or white sausage.

Heavy aroma of yeast & spice. Very cloudy with a thick head and lots of carbonation. Taste of yeast, citrus, bannan & cloves. Great lingering mouthfeel. My favorite hefe thus far.

Cellarís Tasting. Golden color with a sizeable head. Nice aroma of wheat and banana. The taste is a fantastic wallop of wheat, yeast, bread, banana, fruit and orange. Iím not usually a fan of wheats, but holy damn is this outstanding!

golden orange haze. it looks like the color of a lemon. initially - nice head, but disipates rather quickly, scents of bananas and orange peel, a hint of citrus. taste - orange, orange peel, slight hint of lemon that follows to the finish. mouthfeel is quite cozy. itís a great beer, but not the best.

Attractive golden color with a deep creamy head. Aroma of ripened fruits, citrus prominantly. Very complex taste with great character. Very smooth and refreshing. They have had awhile to get this right. Since 1040.

Poured a cloudy golden color with bountiful creamy head. The aroma was wonderful; started off with bananas when slightly colder and then revealed cloves and spices when it warmed up. The taste echoed the aroma. Got a nice spicy feel to it and felt very smooth on the palate. I could drink this all the time. Best wheat beer Iíve had to date.

UPDATED: NOV 27, 2006 Bottle. Nice hefe. A spicey hefe, typical golden color with a decent head and some lacing. Citrus, banana, and (apparently from others) cloves. Iíll have to remember the cloves as that brings more to mind than a very vague "citrus". Re-rated day after first sampling, color/cloudiness is back to normal now.

poured from bottle. Head thick and creamy (my wife said it looked like whipped cream). The beer looks great in the glass, hazy, pale and golden. The taste is quite good and the beer drinks very easily. Try it.

Draught. Pours cloudy yellow orange with very small white head. The aroma is banana, clove, and zest (surprise). The flavor is a bit on the spicy side, with quite a bit of clove and some other more faint spices. The finish is quite citrus-y. All in all, rather refreshing.

UPDATED: OCT 27, 2010 Full bodied, very yeasty, some doughy sourness, some fruity sweeteness, banana and cloves, spicy, quite heavy mouthfill, not my style but well crafted.
