4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle from Munich, poured into Weihenstephan glass. This is the hefe which all others should be judged against. Good body, restrained fruity and yeasty notes, perfect carbonation and finish.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Citrus on the nose. It pours a cloudy gold, typical of the style. The flavor was strong and assaulted the senses in a pleasurable way. It tasted of orange, marshmallow, and bubble gum, with no noticeable hops. Lemon in the finish.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Cloudy yellow-orange with a bumpy white head. Light lemony bread/cereal and slight yeast aroma. Clean wheat flavor livened up by a gentle lemony tartness. Some fresh grass notes underneath. Smooth palate with fine carbonation. Pure tasting and refreshing.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a nice gold color, but not as murky as other hefs, not good or bad. Has a nice head to it and tastes very good. I liked better than Paulaner, but not as well as Hacker Pschorr.

I was surprised at how good this beer was. I had not heard of it before I tried it, and I loved it. I will buy it again!

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Not the best hefe Ive ever had, but it was pretty good, no complaints. I probably need to taste this is a different setting, and not after Ive already had a few. Little to no head. Decent aroma and flavor. Pleasant aftertaste.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy golden-yellow with a huge lasting fluffy white head. Aroma of yeast and wheat along with fruit and spices (mainly cloves). Flavour follows the aroma: Yeast and wheat up front followed by spices and fruit and a mild bitter finish -- perhaps a tad watery but goes down really easy. Medium bodied. Nothing outstanding but still a damn fine Hefe.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Very good, a stronger flavor than that of Franziskaner. Has undertones of apple and pear and a silky mouthfeel. The finish is short, perhaps a little too short, but it’s one of the few complaints one could level against a very good beer.
