A huge, rocky head lasts and is quaffable (as frothy lemon/spice) over a murky, golden-wheat, with the last dregs of yeasts sinking like wispy clouds. Aroma is at first banana, then immense clove takes over, thick & smoky. Notes of lactose and alcohol. Stable flavor with all of the above showing up at one point or another. Finish is spicy & softly tart. Mid-bodied with watery leanings. Just what I wanted... a very good Hefe!

Pours hazy orange with a thick, creamy wonderful head. Citric, banana, clove nose with some hints of sweet bubblegum. Thick, fruity flavour. Wheaty and somewhat yeasty. Refreshing, with a little bitterness.

I did not care for this beer. I guess I am not a big fan of Hefeweizens. I will eventually get used to them, but I don’t really like the strong after taste with them.

Nice rich hefeweizen. A little to bitter for my taste and I got a little to much of the hop oil to enjoy it. Even the normal lemon didn’t help. A very pleasent beer, but left much to be desired.

.5 L bottle. Pours a light gold with about a 1 inch head. Aroma is very spicy, with banana and wheat floating around as well. This tastes just like a good german hefe should. Sweet banana flavor is in front, with the spice and yeast taking a back seat. A great hefe!

Had during a beer tasting party. Poured very hazy with smells of strawberry/banana with some clove. Sweet but nice.

Bottle. Nice, wheaty and spicy aroma. Very big, semi-stable white head. Cloudy golden colour. Very spicy flavour balanced nicely by the mild wheat and OK bitter finish. Needs to be fresh, though.

Yeasty and finishes sour. No bitterness to speak of. I wanted to really like this beer but the sourness puts me off to it.

How could I have not entered a rating for this? Well, it’s been described all too well by other more eloquent raters, so I will just describe this as my go-to weizen. Light, tart, tangy, wheaty, with the right mix of banana and clove, always to my knowledge fresh-tasting and never had a bad bottle. Bottoms up, I love weizens.

Slight citrus, creamy, with banana, marshmallow, and a slight bitter (orange peel) finish, huges head (stays very long) one of the best weissbier
