COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Nothing refreshes you more than this naturally cloudy wheat beer with its wonderful yeasty fragrance and taste. Goes well with dishes that do not have too intensive a flavour, especially that Bavarian speciality 'Weisswurst' or white sausage.

Above-average German hefe, enjoyable as a session beer. Not too much in complexity department. I would have liked to tasted more cloves/esters.

UPDATED: FEB 9, 2006 NIce Weizen, I have not tried one like this like in months, but other hefes good as well, but different. This was really spicy in flavor, and really Weizen.

Hazy yellow/orange colour. Big white long lasting head. Aroma of bananas and cloves. Bananas and cloves in the flavor aswell. But also a malty taste with hints of hops in the aftertaste. This is a lovely weissbier.

Tap: Very cloudy yellow body with a white head. Banana, citrus and wheat aroma and flavor. Low bitterness. Typical for the style with no flaws. Nice.

The beer poured a semi hazy straw color with a nice white head that had good lacing. The aroma of this beer was of bananas and cloves. The taste was dominated with bananas, a little vanilla, cloves, and esters. This is a good hefe.

Not one of my favorite weisse beers, but still pretty good. I’m used to Schneider Original so the body on W is a disappointing.

A very good hefe, properly served (draft, at the brewery tap). Hints of grapfruit, nice orange/brown colour.

500ml. bottle. Hazy golden/orange color with a large white head. Aroma of cloves, wheat malt and banana. Flavor was similar to the aroma, except the cloves were more prominent, with a bit of citrus as well.

As I’ve come to discover, Bavarian wheat beers don’t seem to offer much variance from a standard mean; this is no exception.

In the bottle at the Huber Haus German Bier tasting. Hazy yellow-blonde color with a serious white fluffy head. Pronounced clove aroma. Full body with dry palate and a tart finish. Yummy.
