Thank you ilovedarkbeer for this. Very good for an exported Hefeweizen. Aroma is sweet wheat, banana, a little citrus, smoke, appricot and honey. Pours with a huge creamy white head that lasts pretty well. Color is a hazy yellow with a little orange. Flavor is a bit weak and neautral, but not unpleasant.

3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tried this after the dunkel hefe. I prefer the dunkel, but this is more widely available and a close second in my opinion. Very nice sweet aroma. Lots of carbonation that stays with the beer very well. Taste is a nice mixture of sweetness and spice. Mouthfeel is great, it hugs my tounge.

Nice yeasty aroma, i smell wheat and banana notes. Unfiltered yellow with a white head. Well carbonated, well balanced beer. One of my favorite wheats.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Poured from a bottle into a weizen glass. Had a cloudy amber appearance with a quarter inch head. Slightly trace of fruit in the aroma, with wheat creeping in. Has a subtlely complex taste, with plenty of spices to keep you interested. Fair amount of carbonation. This is an excellent example of a hefeweizen and very drinkable.

Pour is a golden with a decent head and a good amount of carbonation. Aroma of cloves, spice, and bananas. Taste is nice, more complex than most hefeweizens. Mouthfeel is light, with plenty of carbonation. Overall a nice German brew.

Sometimes Germans just know how to brew a great beer and this is one of them. Banana yeast nose, rigid foamy head, and soft golden body make this a well done, session-able, thirst quenching German Hefe-licious beer.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
It may be the oldest, and possibly the best from Bavaria, but the bottle I got stateside may have been old. It seemed to lack the expected levels of banana and cloves that I am used to. I would like to re-rate this when I have one on tap in Germany.

This is one of my favorites. A truly classic representation of the style. Extremely well balanced, and food friendly. Wonderful acidity, loads of cereal grain flavors, with a bit of chalkiness, lemons, bananas and cloves. Consistent from bottle to bottle.

Pours honey yellow with a thick, creamy head. Citrus aroma; flavor has grape, citrus and nutmeg notes. Very effervescent. Overall a good Hefe.
