3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: JUL 27, 2008 bottle - Pours hazy gold with a big, enduring head. It smells mainly of citrus and yeast. The flavor is both sweet with malts and sour with considerable citrus notes that are more apparent than I’ve usually found in the style. The finish is crisp and mostly sweet with maybe a hint of spice. Pretty good.
draft - Spice was more apparent. Tasty citrus notes and an excellent body for this style bring it up another notch.

After the 1st taste, it took me back 30 years to when I was in Germany and had my 1st taste of German beer. So smooth, so tasty, so good. Definitely 2 thumbs up

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: OCT 24, 2006 Poured this one into my favorite stein & cranked up "Ein Prosit Der Gemutlichkeit" on the stereo! Three bottles filled my stein and a 3 inch head crested the top! The aroma had a burnt clove or annis scent. The brew was savory and had an appreciable aftertaste of spice and malt! Highly recommended.

Sampled at Sunset Grill & Tap in Allston, hazy yellow gold hue, with a frothy white head, bready dough nose, with a banana and citrus fruitiness accent, with a note of clove spiciness in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a yeasty, bready dough and nice wheat character, note of clove spiciness and maybe nutmeg or cinnamon, candied apples, banana fruitiness, with a caramelized malt, leading towards a yeasty, fruity finish.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Nize hazy colour, big frothy head and full of fruity wheat aromas. Very drinkable and refreshing, a bit on the thin side though, still, good for it’s style.

Glitters nice and oragne. Quite a big white top. Very fruity (mango and banana) and spicy, hadly any bitterness or sweetness. However, quite a full body.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
This beer pours a nice cloudy, golden color with a LOT head. Aroma of citrus and wheat. Flavor starts with a big banana taste and ends with subtle hint of clove. Good balance between these flavors for a wheat. I happen to be a fan of wheat beers and this is the real deal!
