3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: MAY 29, 2008 Bottle. Pour is hazy, darker orange than most Weissbier. Huge head that remained throughout. Great taste, currently my favorite (German hefe) out there.

Lots of flavor for a lighter beer. Cloudy blond color. Aroma matches taste. Not enough hops for me, but I appreciate its quality.

Everything a hefeweizen should be - clean, crisp, refreshing, inviting, quaffable and so much more. It may just be the perfect standard for a weiss and one can never go wrong in picking one (or 20) up.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours out to an almost impenetrable shade of fiery yellow, with a perfect lasting head. This would be a martyr for style integrity. Aroma of banana and clove, with a bright but wheat dusted note of lemon. Taste is brimming with yeast and wheat. Musty wood, orange zest, mild spice highlights with a sort of sesame seed dry bite at the end. Palate is rather thick and full but this works quite nicely, creating a sort of creamy sensation in place of the usual spritzy sharpness of weissbier. Both intelligent and approachable, and fantastically refreshing.

Very hazy golden body and a large & thick head plus good lacing. Solid wheaty aroma with some hoppyness, citric and floral. The taste was bready & wheaty, plus very good citric/cloves spiciness. Also, vanilla & bubblegum & tart yeastiness & grass. Full and round mouthfeel with good carbonation, very smooth. Full-bodied, creamy, fruity & refreshing. Great stuff.

Bottle. Pours cloudy orange/gold with medium white head. Banana, yeast, lemon, sweet, wheat. Have to give this a good swirl to get some of the carbonation out.
