Bottle. Nice, wheaty and spicy aroma. Very big, semi-stable white head. Cloudy golden colour. Very spicy flavour balanced nicely by the mild wheat and OK bitter finish. Needs to be fresh, though.

Yeasty and finishes sour. No bitterness to speak of. I wanted to really like this beer but the sourness puts me off to it.

How could I have not entered a rating for this? Well, it’s been described all too well by other more eloquent raters, so I will just describe this as my go-to weizen. Light, tart, tangy, wheaty, with the right mix of banana and clove, always to my knowledge fresh-tasting and never had a bad bottle. Bottoms up, I love weizens.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Slight citrus, creamy, with banana, marshmallow, and a slight bitter (orange peel) finish, huges head (stays very long) one of the best weissbier

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours hazy orange-gold with a huge eggshell head. Classic hefeweizen aroma, with the cloves dominant over the banana. Very yeasty, too, and there’s some wheat, of course. The flavor is quite yeasty, with the banana playing a larger part than it did in the aroma. The aftertaste is quick and fruity. Very good.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Lots of wheaty goodness in the nose and body. Yeasty nose with a slight hint of bubblegum. Definently that classic weiss flavor going on here, and it is done well. As with most beers, this one is better on tap. There seems to be an extra fullness and sweetness that is lacking in the bottled version.

Above-average German hefe, enjoyable as a session beer. Not too much in complexity department. I would have liked to tasted more cloves/esters.

Hazy yellow/orange colour. Big white long lasting head. Aroma of bananas and cloves. Bananas and cloves in the flavor aswell. But also a malty taste with hints of hops in the aftertaste. This is a lovely weissbier.

Tap: Very cloudy yellow body with a white head. Banana, citrus and wheat aroma and flavor. Low bitterness. Typical for the style with no flaws. Nice.
