Nothing refreshes you more than this naturally cloudy wheat beer with its wonderful yeasty fragrance and taste. Goes well with dishes that do not have too intensive a flavour, especially that Bavarian speciality 'Weisswurst' or white sausage.

Pours nice slightly cloudy golden color out of the bottle. Banana clove and is that peach? Probably not, but it is good. better than a lot of hefe’s. Even though i’m in a big ipa phase I would revisit this baby.

Draft. Cloudy golden color that arrived with big creamy head. A little thinner mouthfeel than some other hefes that I’ve had. Tastes of banana and citrus. Excellent. Wish I could find this on a regular basis.

Golden color with bubbly carbonation and a nice big, creamy head. Spicy aroma with wheat and banana flavors. It’s smooth, light and refreshing. It finishes dry and a bit tart.

Nice and bready, with a citrus/banana back - well balanced. You can’t see your hand through the glass! Goes down nice and smooth.

Bottle. This beer bring me back to Germany! Very nice! The aroma is some Banana, good! Big white head that disapear quicly. Appearance some dark golden, the flavor is bitter and the same to the palate.

UPDATED: APR 13, 2010 Moderate haze with heaped suds and plenty of spritz. Seductive estery snout with bags of banana, clove and tropical fruit. Flavour drier and less ripe than expected, with banana, pepper, biscuit and a notably more bitter finish than a typical Hefe. Decent brew, and so it should be after 900 years. (Re-rate) Ripe banana aroma with an almost mulled gust of peppery clove and nutmeg. That’s a 9. Thick and milky spiced teabag clove and pepper in the mouth, with biscuit and banana. Just a hint of dryness to finish. Lovely spicy weizen, up-rated from 3.7.

Golden, hazy with a nice head. The aroma is nice with notes of wheat and banana. The flavour is slightly sweet and spicy with notes of citrus. The citrus is stronger than in the average weiss, but it’s far from moving towards a wit. A nice weiss bier for sure.

I AM BEGINNING TO GIVE A LITTLE LESS CREDIT FOR THE RECURRING THEME OF BANANA AND CLOVE OR CORIANDER FOUND IN GERMAN BEERS THAT APPARENTLY HAVE ALL GOTTEN THE SAME IDEA. THIS IS A NICE BREW IN THAT TRADITION. YEASTY BODY THAT IS GOOD. A TAD THINNISH TO SHOW A REFRESHING CHARACTERISTIC. MORE BREADY THAN BUNNY. A BIT TANGY. A HAPPY BREW. QUALITY SUGAR -LIKE HONEY- THAT IS MELLOW. I’M THINKING CREAM OF WHEAT YEEESS WITH THE PAT OF BUTTER.

Very nice hefe, good balance of banana and clove, with a smooth heavy palate texture. When I try to get people to try new beers this would be what I start with. Most people around here drink a lot of american wheat beers, this kinda shows them the light, lots of flavors in a "easy to drink for any palate" kind of brew.

I did not like this one. It was very bitter and carbonated. Yeasty and thin, but not watery.
