COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Nothing refreshes you more than this naturally cloudy wheat beer with its wonderful yeasty fragrance and taste. Goes well with dishes that do not have too intensive a flavour, especially that Bavarian speciality 'Weisswurst' or white sausage.

Cloudy amber body with big white head. Aroma is banana, clove and apricots. The flavor is fruity, bananas and some citrus, light touch of spice, with a dry, slightly bitter finish. The mouthfeel is smooth and creamy.

Poures a cloudy golden color with a large pillowy head that lasts through the beer. Has an aroma of bananas and yeast. Flavor is citrus and bananas along with yeast and slight cloves. Has a crisp, thin mouth to it and finiches mildly bitter. A very nice hefeweizen.

Bottle. Aroma is enveloping and soft, with lots of banana and vanilla. Flavors of lemon, banana, wheat, and yeast. Light, sweet, balanced, and a touch of dryness - an outstanding weizen.

Light hefeweizen. Hazy yellow colour with a medium mostly lasting head. Weak taste of wheat and citrus. not the best hefeweizen around.

UPDATED: MAR 9, 2006 50cl bottle. Poured murky yellow-tan (not a terribly appetizing color) into a footed pilsner glass with a huge foamy white head. Aroma is primarily yeast and DMS, with some banana apparent only immediately after the pour. Flavor is yeasty and grainy with definite DMS, though the latter is quite well-controlled. Definite clove note in some sips though not in others. Lightly bitter. Longish finish with bubblegum, then banana, then some sweetness coming through in layers. A little thin on the palate, but crisp, lively, and refreshing. Highly drinkable. Definitely the best of the three bottled hefeweizens I have tried recently (Franziskaner and Paulaner are the others) and the only one I would consider buying again.

Sweet spicy and clove aroma with faint banana character and a wheat background. Dry wheat flavor with light clove and hints of banana. Medium light body with moderate carbonation. 7/3/7/3/13 - 3.3 02/27/2006 - Hazy amber color with a thin white head. Spicy aroma with hints of sweetness. Flavor of sugar with spice in the end. 7/3/8/3/12 - 3.3

UPDATED: JUN 2, 2007 Pours out cloudy gold with a mammoth head. Aroma of bananas and bubblegum. Flavor is much of the same. Palate is pretty smooth and not overly carbonated. Would be a good beer for the golf course. One of the best hefes Iíve ever had. Enjoyable to drink. Significantly better than the Weihen Kristalweizen. Damn, this beer is better than I thought. I drank the half liter in like 15 minutes...itís tasty. (rerate) God I love this beer. Definitely the archetype of bavarian hefes. I can never imagine a time when i would not want to drink this. Thus the huge overall score. RERATE again. just got a new case of this from a more reputable distributor. i can tell this is a lot fresher. just a really creamy texture and flavor. Rerate. Iíve been through a few cases of this by now and i think that is quite a testament. This beer can do it all. if youíre just thirsty from a long day in the heat it quenches you. if you want a subtle yet sophisticated beer itís all there. i fucking love this beer and iím a hophead. so easy to drink, low in calories, unfortunately itís like $9 a six pack.
