3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: JAN 2, 2007 12 oz bottle via shigadeyo (thanks!). This pours a hazy golden color with a large white head. Nose is spicey with note of wheat, pears, pepper, banannas. Tastes just like it smells with some vanilla as well and of course a fizzy crisp wheat finish. Mostly pepper and banannas in the aftertaste.

Very good weissbier. The mix of bitterness and and a clear fruit taste was wellbalanced and it was also a nice thirst-killer.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle 0,5l. Yellowish coloured. Hazy. A huge head - that settles to a normal level in a minute or two. Rich aroma of fruit and spice. Sweet flavour - but not too sweet: Lots of fruity notes here. Some bitterness in a long finish makes it one of the better wheat beers.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Attractive beer- light amber on the bottom transitioning upward to a cloudier, darker composition, topped with a large white head. Aroma is textbook: fresh bananas, fruity bubble gum, spices, and heavy yeast. The sweet, smooth flavor was accentuated by the beer’s creamy texture and clean finish. Both extremely drinkable and tasty, this is an excellent representation on the hefeweizen style.

i get it now. before having tried this beer, i have been unimpressed by hefeweizens, but this is a truely great beer. cloudy, wheaty, and lots of banana in the nose (as they say).

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Orange, muddy body; large, white head, mostly lasting with a fair lacing; small bubbles of average density.
Heavy banana aroma, together with moderate hops notes (orange) and moderate-to-heavy yeasty notes (dough).
Flavour is moderately sweet and acidic with a light bitter note that comes up in the long finish.
Medium body with an oily texture; lively carbonation; light-to-moderate astrincency in the finish.
Very pleasent beer, one of the best hefeweizen I tried.
