COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Nothing refreshes you more than this naturally cloudy wheat beer with its wonderful yeasty fragrance and taste. Goes well with dishes that do not have too intensive a flavour, especially that Bavarian speciality 'Weisswurst' or white sausage.

Cloudy with slight yellow brown tinge, with fine head dissapating quickly. Soapy, banana, with spice and citrus on the nose. Slight citrus, creamy, with banana, marshmallow, and a slight bitter (orange peel) finish. Well made though not my favorite.

Aroma is of spices, cloves, and fruit like a good hefe. Cloudy gold in color with a good white head, unfortunately the head was rather thin. Nice banana and spice taste. Very good Hefe here.

Maybe i am just losing my taste for this style. i found it nothing over par, but it wasnt horrible. it was just there in the bhuddist sense. Clean, nice hefe flavors. subtle finish. fizzy, full mouthfeel.

Notes from St. line Wheat beer tasting 7/30/04. Hazy gold/white hued brew. white head. Fruity, malty nose with good hints of spices. Medium/light body, silky mouthfeel, lingering. Good bananna, spice flavors, lightly citrusy, good mallt backing. A true classic! Yummy.

This is my favorite of the style. Looks great, and has a wonderful wheat bread flavor with a nice bite at the end. Great after tennis beer.

UPDATED: DEC 10, 2008 [draft - Great European Beerfest 8 - Sharp Edge Tavern - East Liberty, PA] Poured a cloudy yellow color with a thin and fizzy head. Slight banana and sweet notes with a strong spicy aroma. Good spicy taste with a nice wheat and yeasty follow up. A very good hefeweizen.

A nice well made weissbier, but in a way I was expecting more out of this. Has the typical banana like flavors present but was a little low on the "spicy" side of the scale. Good toasty wheat flavors present as well. A pleasant drink.

Very yeasty and wheaty, spicy flavor. I miss the typical banana or glove notes. Beer is quite good, but i can’t understand, why this beer should be the number two wheat in the world...

Pours hazy gold amber with a large and creamy white head. Some lacing. That wonderful banana nose and a touch of spice and malt just please the olfactory senses. Some citrus there as well. The flavor is similiar in the fact there is the banana and the clove. The citrus comes out a bit more and there is a nice bite of bitter hops. The palate is damn refreshing and smooth. Nice fruity finish of banana and citrus with just a touch of bitterness. Great.
