Pours a huge rich head. Yeasty aroma that leads to a banana and clove palate. A refreshingly classic beer. Goes perfect with german potato salad. Prost!

I like this Weissbier because it has a uniqueness to it's yeast flavor. Pours nice, nice head and color. Nice malty wheaty mouthfeel. Good overall balance. Also pairs nicely with smoked ham and potato salad. (just thought I'd through that in)

Goldenrod, only a tiny bit cloudy. Fizzy bubbles rise. Spicy pepper, over-ripe banana, chicken soup stock nose (???). Mostly clove on the tongue, but rich and thick. Bubblegum, flour, hard banana bread taste.

Orange-tan color with cloudy body and large head of foam. Good yeasty-fruity aromas. Lots of layers to this. Amost a different taste with each sip- bubble gum, nutmeg, citrus, graham cracker, fresh wheat dough-along with the usual banana and clove. Deliciously sweet and creamy.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Overall a dcent hefeweisse. Great golden hues, particularly when served in a Weihen glass. Aroma was a bit funky, kind of like really old grain. The flavor was my least favorite aspect, lending way to stale bread and tin foil. Nice body for a hefe-weisse.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: JAN 1, 2009 Poured from bottle. Well, it sure pours like a German beer - it took a while to get it all in the glass as a nice, whipped cream head forms. A sweet wheat aroma. Wheat and malt in the flavor, with a tiny bit of spice. Seems more Belgian than German. Good feel, a bit watery, but just the right bit of carbonation. A good example of this type of beer.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cloudy clove banana stuff going on. Has some tartness in the taste, only slight. Enough to make it stand out. I will drink one of these the first time I cut my lawn this year.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cloudy, light gold. Thinner, sweet malts. I didn't get as much out of the taste that I expected from the appearance. Some lemony banana, but overall a little bland.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Cloudy appereance, pale golden colour, huge and really persistent head. Spicy aroma with hints of banana. This wheat beer has the sweetest flavour I've ever found in this kind of beers, really malty, with some good banana and pear traces. Spicy aftertaste, with few bitterness. Very drinkable and pleasant, simply one of the best wheat beers on the market.
