Commercial Description:
Nothing refreshes you more than this naturally cloudy wheat beer with its wonderful yeasty fragrance and taste. Goes well with dishes that do not have too intensive a flavour, especially that Bavarian speciality 'Weisswurst' or white sausage.

Bottle. A sweet smell, only light yeast and citrus. The white creamy head is rather small with a normal duration. The body is light cloudy and orange. The taste is light bitter with a normal duration, not so pleasant. The beer is light with much carbonation and a light astringent finish.

Another $2.69 bottle from BevMo this poured a nice cloudy yellow with a good white head and great lacing. Nose of of banana and citrus. Really nice clean mouthfeel. Flavors mirror the nose. This is an outstanding hefe.

This is one of my favorite beers, it has a great flavor with a slightly dark cloudy yellow color. Very easy to drink and always good. Bottle

Murky golden pour with a thick white head that evaporates very slowly. Bubblegum aroma with some nice banana scent as well. Flavor similar but a little bit more banana than bubblegum maybe with a nice carbonated kick to it. Probably the best hefe I have ever drank.

Hazy gold body over tall white head. Nice smell of sausage and light yeast, you can tell its not an overly sweet version of the style. Taste is citrus and breads, some clove. Light on the palate, fizzy with medium finish of bread dough. I prefer something sweeter, but this will do nicely.

Bottle. Bright orange, good head. Nice citrus orange aroma. Little lemon and banana it there as well. Taste has a nice spicyness to it for a hefe. Classic banana earthy taste. Bread like, maybe even a touch of some hops in the back-ground. Texture is light but not watery. Little carbonation bubbles while in your mouth. Overall great beer...I wouldnt expect anything else from the worlds oldest brewery

bottle bought in Systembolaget - Stockholm. Appearance: cloudy yellow color. Great head, compact, lasting, a little rocky and with good adherence at glass. Aroma: fresh wheaty and yeasty smells. Clear banana reminiscences, also to cookies, cake, vanilla, gun, toffee and slight citrus notes. Flavor: sweet wheaty start that persist right to the end. Slightly citrus note. Fresh yeasty progress with hints of toffee, banana, vanilla, custard and lemon cookies. I can to remember the dessert of banana with palm-tree’s honey and the natural orange-banana juice. Palate: medium body and semi-creamy texture. Medium carbonation. Remark: refreshing with very nice yeasty and banana notes, but slightly sweety unbalance. Drinkable.
