Ginger and lemon spices perfectly balanced to complete a great hefeweizen. A great beer for a hot summer day.

Bottled. Poured a golden color with a fluffy white head. This beer was dominated by a VERY spicy flavor reminiscent of ginger and oranges. Even though the flavors are potent, they're BALANCED. My new favorite wheat beer.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Big white smooth moderately lasting head. Fruity, banana aroma. Dirty cloudy yellow body. Light in mouth. Sweetish, fruity and banana followed by a light tanginess that popped a bit on the tongue.

Tap. This beer with a cloudy mocha golden body, topped by a big thick white head, released all the expected hefe aromas quite nicely - banana, yeast, cloves all balanced nicely. Then a creamy mouthful refreshed the mouth and was a great accompaniment to a late night bite to eat. Slightly tangy citrus flavour lingered. Nice.

Big, rocky, white head. Cloudy gold appearance. Clovelike aroma. The taste has hints of banana and a tangy clove. When tasted side by side with four other wheat beeers, this was the best. No lemon needed.

Pale amber colour with a small, mostly lasting, creamy white head.. The aroma is citrus and banana. Good wheat and banana flavors. Good hefe

4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
UPDATED: AUG 21, 2013 Probably my favorite hefeweizen. I have had this numerous times on draft and bottled and my rating for both is essentially the same. +++ Sampled from a 16.9 oz brown bottle. Pretty label. The brew pours a slightly orange golden color. Very hazy. Has a large foaming head that is slow to diminish. There is a moderate sweet fruity aroma. Sweet front taste with a sour tangyness that lingers. A world classic in my book.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Sadly average. Nice color, but short-lived head. Nice aroma (yeast, citrus, banana). Slightly sweet malty and wheaty taste; dry yeasty finish. It feels like all the right flavours are there, but they are a bit too light and bland, especially when compared to my favorite hefeweizen, like Ayinger or Franziskaner.

Huge foamy head. Classic hazy weizen colour with orange shades. Florish sweet aroma with some yeast! Soft palate. Banana flavor. Sweety taste with carbonation holds till the end.
