COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Nothing refreshes you more than this naturally cloudy wheat beer with its wonderful yeasty fragrance and taste. Goes well with dishes that do not have too intensive a flavour, especially that Bavarian speciality 'Weisswurst' or white sausage.

looks like this could be my favorite hefeweizen. cloudy gold color, largely citrus aroma but some hints of yeast and banana. very tangy on the tongue, with a sweet banana finish. very refreshing.

UPDATED: AUG 14, 2004 Bottle from The Wine Company, Slough. I’m not huge fan of hefeweizens. This and Erdingers are my favourites though. Lacks the nasty clovey/spicy aftertaste that many other german hefes have. Good.

Weird... I thought I had rated this beer. Nose is grainy, yeasty and fruity (banana’s). Hazy, yellow-orange coloured with a lasting head. taste is balanced; grainy, some yeast, fruit (banana’s and citrus)and spices. Refreshing palate.

wunderbier (1434) - Tampere, FINLAND - JUN 4, 2004
UPDATED: MAY 14, 2006 Balanced clove and banana nose. Doughy yeast also. Lightly sweet flavor becomes a lightly sweet, lightly acidic finish. Medium-light body, watery texture, soft carbonation. The bottom line is: not full enough (body or flavor) for me to really enjoy it.

She pours majestically, with round bubbles and a nice muted golden hue. The aroma and flavor are classic in the fruity "banana" style. The spiciness leads to a full, round palate and long finish. A classic.

(Bottle) Pours a hazy golden color with a huge white rocky head. Has the aroma of wet straw, banana, and light citrus. Flavors of banana, and citrus with a creamy palate.

Nice. Very nice. And after all this time and all the weiss beers, getting to this one and liking it, but just lacking words in pulling it all together. Quenching? You bet. have what I like in a weiss? That’s for sure.

UPDATED: MAR 15, 2005 A beautiful, large and white head on top of a golden and cloudy body. It has a fresh, but not that strong aroma. The taste of pure freshness fills your entire mouth and leaves a sweet burnout. It has a dry and fruity taste, and of course lots of wheat. A prime Hefe Weissbier - perfect for a warm sommer day! My favorit beer, but not the best beer (does it make sense? - YES!)
