COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Nothing refreshes you more than this naturally cloudy wheat beer with its wonderful yeasty fragrance and taste. Goes well with dishes that do not have too intensive a flavour, especially that Bavarian speciality 'Weisswurst' or white sausage.

Pale amber colour with a beautiful head. The aroma is fresh, citrusy, grapefruit and banana. Lot of carbonation and slightly spicy. Grapefruity finish.

Strong, wheaty aroma...like a Belgian. Small, mostly lasting, creamy, frothy, white head. Nice, cloudy, orange body with decent lace. Very Belgian-like in flavor without the strong alcohol mouthfeel of say, a Maudite or Fin Du Monde. Very flavorful. Not my favorite style, but very good. Will be comparing it soon to the draught version in Germany soon.

Poured just like a german wheat should. Misty orange color with a fizzy background and ample head. Smells of slight skunk and citrus. Strong Hop aroma and a trace of wood. The beer was very carbonated and felt like alka-selzer in my mouth. The flavor was that of a mild wheat beer, nothing too complex, nothing too distiguishing. Overall, I’ve had better german wheats, but still a tasty beer and worth trying.

I won this beer at Wawood’s yuppy beer tasting. Hef is a german bitch who gives good foamy head and wears lots of lace...she is really dirty. her golden cloudy quality appearance distinquishes her. she has a destinquishing taste that ends very smoothly. I like her yeast...so much so she may have an infection...which is a good thing. solid++

Bought for my brother as a gift (tall bottle), so I just had to sneak a few sips: I like the clingy head. Definite citrusy mouthfeel; decent graininess adds well roundedness. Easy drinkin’ here. I like this stuff - next time I will gift it to myself!

UPDATED: JAN 23, 2005 In bottle: Nice head, refreshing pepper-banana like flavor; cloudy with dry aftertaste. If it gives you a bad impression let it warm.

Had this on tap. Came with a nice white head. Good wheat and banana flavors. Delicious and refreshing. Even better with a wedge of citrus.

Bottle. Tall, inconsistent, white head. Cloudy, mango colored body. Lemony sweet punch-like taste. Dry aftertaste. Light, peppery, salty, not creamy. Due to its fullness and sweetness this is considered a superior, middle-priced wheatbeer (better than Erdinger & Franzikaner, etc). However, I find others sweeter. Abrasive in the mouth. A typical Wheat with a little too much high-end: Pow! without Pug!. Probably good with orange rather than lemon. Rolls down like any endowed wheatbeer.

Fresh on tap. Typically, I have not had the best on tap until the other night. Hazy dark straw color with a tall white head. Mild clove and sweet malt aroma. Light spice flavors of clove with only a touch of bananas, pears and raisins. Finishes clean and quenching.
