Nothing refreshes you more than this naturally cloudy wheat beer with its wonderful yeasty fragrance and taste. Goes well with dishes that do not have too intensive a flavour, especially that Bavarian speciality 'Weisswurst' or white sausage.

UPDATED: JUL 2, 2016 Nice refreshing weizenbeer. A good drink for those hot summer days. Solid beer!

I donít like it as much as their Vitus, but thatís not saying it isnít excellent. Back when I first began brewing this is exactly what I was trying to achieve. Pours hazy golden with thin, lasting white top and some clinging. Aroma is as stated - mild clove, banana, a zesty spice and some bubblegum. Flavor is quite similar. Classic for the style. Very drinkable all day long.

Sometimes I just donít understand ratebeer. To me this seems pretty similar to any other wheat beer Iíve tried. Not a negative thing to say, itís actually quite nice. But just... slightly better than average.

Hazy pale golden colour, with an enormous head that holds all the while and leaves a great lace. Aroma of banana, coriander, cloves, peaches and citrus. Medium body, great carbonation. Taste is similar to aroma: bananas, clove, citrus... Great.

Light yellow coloured hazy beer with a large foamy white head that lasts a long time. Aroma is sweet, bananas and some spice. Yeast is also present. Taste is a nice mix of bitterness and sweetness. Notes of bananas, lemon zest and coriander with just perfect amount of carbonation. The mouthfeel is full and creamy. Leaves a lighy bitter taste in the mouth. Overall just an amazing hefeweizen, didnít even remember that this was so perfect.

Bottle. Yellow color, almost clear but hazy liquid, white foamy head. Smell of banana and eggs. Aroma of banana, yeast, wheat. Light sour, not very bitter, radler like. Despite it is light beer, I didnít find it easily drinkable, nor have taste for another. Average.

20160605 Home; 50 cl bottle (BB 20170329): A yellow (slightly orange) coloured beer with a huge white foam layer. Smell of somewhat perfume, wheat, bananas, vanilla and clove. Taste is slightly sweet with small sourness and a little bitterness in the aftertaste. The body is medium, the texture is creamy, because of the nice, lively carbonation. A really nice beer for all year round.

This is my favorite heffeweizen to date. The look, smell, taste, and finish are really a benchmark of the style.

Cloudy orange-gold in the glass with a gorgeous fluffy white cap. Itís been a long, hot pre-summer day of urban adventures & bbq & drinks with neighbours & this beer comes on like a dream as the day slips into evening. Nice balanced hefeweizen: banana bread, clove, shivers of bubblegum, fresh squeezed lemon. Very refreshing, sparkling mouthfeel, clean crisp finish. None of the messy sugary aftertaste that lesser brews are handcuffed to. Fantastic. Going down sooooo quickly. World class.

Enjoyed from a bottle at the Pour house in Exton PA. Pours with a beautiful murky honey appearance with a large three finger head that leaves plenty of lacing as it goes down. It smells delicious, with banana, wheat, yeast and clove with some lemon coming through. The taste follows the nose with a nice blend of bitterness and sweetness and a lingering banana finish. The mouth feel is smooth and creamy with medium carbonation. I can see why this is considered this is one of the finest Hefeweizens brewed in the world.
