Commercial Description:
Nothing refreshes you more than this naturally cloudy wheat beer with its wonderful yeasty fragrance and taste. Goes well with dishes that do not have too intensive a flavour, especially that Bavarian speciality 'Weisswurst' or white sausage.

Bottle. Pours hazy gold with a fluffy white head. The aroma is fruity, with banana and lemon, also clove and other spices. The flavor is very well balanced, with clove and ripe banana. Very nice.

The pour was mostly golden in color and not that cloudy. The head was white and compact with virtually no lacing. The aroma was yeasty, malty and citrusy. The flavor was bright citrus, yeast and thin malt. I liked the yeasty notes, made it taste not so standard. The mouthfeel was above average for the style, the finish was average. Enjoyable.

I have tried most of the German Hefe-Weizens out there that I can find and this definitely in the top two, if not the best one in the world. The aroma is great, the appearance perfect and the taste is nice smooth wheat flavour with a hint of banana/fruit. Definitely my favourity beer so far!

When this is poured I dont see a beer but a blond women in a golden dress. Probably the best German Hefe-Weizen there is. Nice banana aroma. Like most good hefe-weizens they are one of the few beers that is better in the bottle than from the tap.

Aroma is banana/citrus and easters. Pours cloudy orange with rocky white head. Flavor is crisp citrus and banana with an undertone of spice. Finish is nice and dry. Medium body with okay head retention. Sweet and refreshing, almost like a Witbeer with more banana and spice. Well done. Probably the best Hef out there. If you like WIdmer Bros, you have to try the original!

From bottle. Part of Dayton Beer Tasting July Event. Paired with chevre on crostini. Poured cloudy light amber as remembered. Typical banana wheat aroma with cloves and citrus. Light citrus taste mixed with wheat with a long lasting finish. Great hefe.
