| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 18, 2008 The pour was mostly golden in color and not that cloudy. The head was white and compact with virtually no lacing. The aroma was yeasty, malty and citrusy. The flavor was bright citrus, yeast and thin malt. I liked the yeasty notes, made it taste not so standard. The mouthfeel was above average for the style, the finish was average. Enjoyable. pacaus (49), Dublin, Pennsylvania, USA
| 4.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 20/20 | Sep 17, 2008 I have tried most of the German Hefe-Weizens out there that I can find and this definitely in the top two, if not the best one in the world. The aroma is great, the appearance perfect and the taste is nice smooth wheat flavour with a hint of banana/fruit. Definitely my favourity beer so far! Bierkrug (245), Idar-Oberstein, Germany

Probably the best German Hefe-Weizen there is. Nice banana aroma. Like most good hefe-weizens they are one of the few beers that is better in the bottle than from the tap. jfb (413), Weihenstephan, Germany
