| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jul 16, 2008 12 oz bottle. I would prefer to get the half liter bottles of this, if I could. Cloudy, blond with billowy, ample head. Lots of carbonation, lots of flavor- sour banana. tart, refreshing. Complex, forward yeast flavor. Must compare this to some local wheat beers. urraca (44), New Jersey, USA

Absolutely brilliant golden-yellow with a great, large, airy. white head that lasts for quite some time. Superb head retention that slowly reduces to a full silky canopy and lace. Very Vibrant bouquet with major hints of banana, citrus, and a hint of cloves and vanilla. Citrus favors dominate along with major compliments of banana and clove. I’m now on a major mission to find this on tap, but the bottles are other worldly already. ndfreak77 (76), USA

| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jul 12, 2008 Bottle. Pours a perfect cloudy orange/gold with a big white head. Aroma is banana, clove, yeast, and floral touches. perfect. Flavor is slightly sweet, with all of the elements of the aroma in perfect form. Finishes a bit dry, with a slightly lingering yeast flavor. Have had this multiple times in hefe tastings, and it always stands out as the clear winner. AllAboutStout (605), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Jul 11, 2008 A little dark on the pour. This is an amber in color with a huge, two inch of pillowy head. Looks great! Smell is all wheat, some lemon and some other spice being noticed as well. More wheat and you can taste the yeast in there as well. This is a Hefe in the purest sense of the word. Clean and non-cloying. Refreshing, perfect warm weather beer. Here comes the stateside part of my review: I think it would improve with some vigorous hopping, lol. gotohelunc (473), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA
