Jul 10, 2008 Pour is cloudy golden with a very fluffy white head. Aroma is quite potent with wheat, floral aromas, light orange, and spice. Flavors are full with floral and a medium but very smooth sweet orange peel. I got a lot of yeast in the flavor as well finishing with a wheat finish. Good brew. Would buy again. Very refreshing

Jul 7, 2008 A long while ago I drank this bier in a Bavarian bar. Today it is still as great of a drink as I remembered it to be. When poured correctly it has one of the most perfectly proportionate heads as any bier i have seen. The bier it’s self has a slight banana undertone with a subtle citrus after taste. Light and milky, this bier is poster child for all Bavarian Weiss biers.

Magnificent tangy citrus flavor of wheat, light hops, and yeast....with bit a of tart and extremely clean crisp finish. Refreshing and light. This is what I imagine a perfect German Hefeweizen to be.

Jul 7, 2008 Bottle thanks to Woodsman52. Hazy golden with a nice head depending on the way you pour this. Could be excessive or small depending on your expertise. Large bread yeast aroma. Slightly sweet with some short lived bitterness. Fizzy on the palate but smooth. Nice beer.

Jul 6, 2008 Bottle and on tap but I just finished a bottle so this review is based on a bottled sample. Consistently hazy glowing sunflower supporting a towering white head. Lots of lacing. Aroma of fresh bananas, yeast and newly cut grass. Mildly spicy but crisp banana flavor with cloves and a kiss of yeast. Rich texture and a full flavored brisk finish. Refreshing and versatile. Clearly worthy of its place as a world and style standard.
