Nothing refreshes you more than this naturally cloudy wheat beer with its wonderful yeasty fragrance and taste. Goes well with dishes that do not have too intensive a flavour, especially that Bavarian speciality 'Weisswurst' or white sausage.

Bottle @ home. Clody dark orange, 2-3 finger thick off white head. Fruity, spicy, doughy aroma with oranges, clove, ham, dough, some apples, vanilla? Hmm... Taste packs refreshing oranges, some banana, prominent clove and firm bready wheat. It's fairly dry, which I like. Medium bodied with a nice round and crisp carbonation, soft texture. A very nice hefe for me who's not so fond of the style.

Moderate to weak cloudy, yellow to orange colored, nice and thick lasting white head. Aroma is sweet banana, wheat and strong cloves. Taste medium sweet wheat and again more cloves than banana, yeast. Medium bodied yet thick with medium carbonation. Nice, lightly sweet banana bread aftertaste. Marvelous! Personal favorite among Hefes!

Hazy yellow, stark white foamy head, runny lacing. Banana notes are more on nose than palate. Banana, banana bread, plastic, spice, fruity, complex. $3.29/500ml bottle at Total Wine and More Boca Raton Florida

Pours a cloudy light amber. World Class head volume, lacing and retention. Classic wheat nose of light clove and banana, a touch of lemon, yeast and biscuit. As it warms, a subtle spicy character emerges. Medium bodied with a very smooth texture that approaches creamy. Well carbonated with a rich effervescence from the middle on. This beer is the standard for Hefe Weissbiers and is world class. The flavor profile is intense, complex and well balanced. It begins with a mild tartness that separates into lemon and banana. As these fade in the middle, clove comes forward over a biscuit background with a hint of spice and dryness. The finish is crisp, with a mild biscuit fading and leaving clove.

Great hazy yellow pour with a white head. Fruity aroma. Sweet banana bread and citrus notes through out the flavor profile. Very clean and refreshing beer start to finish. This will be my beer of choice for summer.
