Bottle @ home. profumo di banana e lieviti a tonnellate. odora di pane fresco. Il colore è giallo intenso con alcuni riflessi ambrati, opaca come tutte le weiss ed è visibile una carbonatazione marcata. La schiuma è densissima, sembra panna, perlage fine ma non durevole. Il gusto rispecchia il profumo con molta banana, un che di citrico e sapore di lieviti. Una delle migliori weizen che si possano bere.

Flaske fra polet: første gang jeg drakk dette var fra fat på flyplassen i Berlin, og det var en åpenbaring. Lys oranjse, uklar, og med en herlig aroma av banan, nellik og litt karamellaktig sødme. Midtveis i glasset ønsket jeg at avgangen ville bli kraftig forsinket. Flaskeversjonen er også en benchmark - dette er en klassiker innen stilen, og verdt hver eneste krone.

Bottle 500ml. Pours straw yellow eith high white head, diminishing. Some lacing. Aroma is of wheat, bananas, yeast. Taste is of wheat, bananas, yeast, hints of acidity. Palate: ligth-medium body. Overall: Very nice yeast features. Refreshing.

Bottle (500 ml). Thanks to czar and hoppypocket! Hazy yellow/orange with a frothy white head and some lacing. Aroma is yeasty with a lot of banana esters and wheat/acidic notes. Taste is slightly to moderately sweet with banana, yeast, wheat, slight acidity, malt and a touch of spices. Medium body. Slightly dry. Drinkable, refreshing and well-balanced. One of the best Hefeweizen!

Drought. Hazy pale yellow apperance withnsmall whitish foamy head, citrus aroma, low carbonation, sweetish taste with a tang of bitter orange, lomg finish leaving citrus aroma on your tongue.

Impressive head, doesn’t last long though. Orange/brown, cloudy. Spicy yeasty banana aroma. Sweet-ish wheaty flavour, there’s also some alcohol-bitterness in the back of the mouth. A good example of the style.

Pours cloudy with big white head and excellent lacing. Great carbonation with medium body. Wonderful balance of citrus, banana and spice. Easily one of the best Hef’s I’ve ever had.

Bottle from Vinmonopolet, Norway. Pours a hazy and light golden colour, heavily carbonated and with an enormous white foamy head. Some yeast is visible in the glass towards the end of the pour. Aroma is yeast, wheat and banana. Mouthfeel is medium. Superbly balanced flavour, with the slightly sweet wheat and hints of banana and spices and a dry finish. A refreshing and thoroughly enjoyable beer, the best hefeweizen I’ve tasted.

Pours a cloudy yellow with a nice head and marvellous lacing. Aroma has banana, cloves, lemon, wheat. Taste has the same bananas, cloves, citrus, crisp wheat. Dry finish. Medium body with full carbonation. A solid hefe, one of the best for sure. Something i could drink gallons during a nice summer day.
