May 7, 2008 Updated: Jan 2, 2009On tap @ Bishops Arms, Karlstad, Sweden. First time I had it on tap, but it’s really good on bottle too. One my favourite Hefeweizens. Hazy pale amber color with a nice white head. Aroma is spicey with notes of citrus, banana, yeast and wheat. Flavour is pretty much the same. Lightly sweet, lightly acidic (in a good way). Banana, citrus, spices, yeast. Feels very refreshing in the mouth, quite much carbonation. Extremely drinkable!

May 6, 2008 Bella weizen di classe, tra quelle un po’ più facili da trovare al supermarket direi la migliore; unica nota di demerito sapore lievemente metallico però nel retrogusto sfuma decisamente. Ricca e gustosa ma allo stesso tempo molto godibile, dissetante e golosa. Bravo

May 5, 2008 Pours golden color with a thick, dense head. Aroma is very sweet, almost candy like. Taste is sweet, hoppy, citrucy, with some spices (?). Pretty good, just not really my thing. Probably wouldnt buy again.

May 5, 2008 Hazy yellow under fluffy white head, good lacing throughout. Understated nose, and a full palate. Peppery and sweet, with citrus following. Really nice.

May 4, 2008 0.5 l bottle. Hazy golden color with thick creamy head. Strong clove aroma with apple, wheat and hint of banana. Grainy, wheaty, bready and strongly clovey flavor with some tart fruitiness and notes of apple. Oily palate. Not my favourite weizen, but fairly good.

May 4, 2008 Golden and hazy with a fine sized sustained head. Wheaty, malty and yeast aroma. Initially sweet,spicey and yeasty, with a slight lemon flavour. Dry banana finish. Mediium to full body. A near perfect hefe.

May 1, 2008 A superb example of the style. Lovely deep hazy amber colour with a fantastic big rocky head thats lasting well down the glass,there is a good steady bead of bubbles. Aroma is the classic mix of fruit and spice, this is also found on the palate along with a touch of malty sweetness. The finish is long lasting and satisfying. A complex brew that delivers.
