Commercial Description:
Nothing refreshes you more than this naturally cloudy wheat beer with its wonderful yeasty fragrance and taste. Goes well with dishes that do not have too intensive a flavour, especially that Bavarian speciality 'Weisswurst' or white sausage.

Bottle pours a very cloudy straw color with a decent clingy head. The aroma is yeast, wheat, perhaps some clove/banana notes - not as much as I expected. The flavor is clove, very slight banana, some lingering ale fruit characteristics, and spice like cardamom. The palate is very refreshing and lively. Overall, this rocks and it has been too long since I’ve had a hefe!

Draft. Gorgeous honey with thick creamy white head. Spicy yeasty nose. Nice spicy fruit flavour. Damn nice.

What a massive head! Honey colored and unfiltered. Clove, wheat, and yeast are the nose. Clove dominates the flavor but it is quite consistent with the aroma. Some mild bitterness is a bit of a surprise and is also somewhat soapy. Fruity esters show up mid glass (22 oz.) I miss the banana and orange but this was a nice hefe and was also distinct.

Lively golden/orange, glowing beer, with a foamy, well-sustained head - yeasty aroma, with notes of orange blossom honey, citrus, wildflowers, perfume/herbs, wheat, and a light nutty character - light yet creamy body - very subdued sweetness allows the herbal character and soft wheat notes to come through a lot more than in other hefes - yeasty, but not overly so, and the yeast combines with the grainy notes to give the beer a bready character, despite the fact that it remains light and refreshing throughout - very soft and subtle - phenolics come through just a bit, as do some light lemony notes, but herbs, flowers and wheat remain most prominent - this is an exceptional hefe, and one that I can’t believe I’ve taken so long to try.

Bottle. Pours a yellow-orange colour with a white head. Aroma is some perfumy yeasy, citrus, wheat and some herbs. Flavour is well-balanced and very mild wih some sweetness. Lots of wheat, some yeast, citrus and banana and a hint of malts. Very good indeed and presumably a perfect beer to go with lighter foods.

Dark yellow and hazy with a medium sized white head. Wheaty banana flavours. Medium bodied, average carbonation. Quite a sweet finish. Pretty nice. - 500ml bottle.

this is one of THE classic hefe weissbiers out there (also try Schneiderweisse). Delicious fruity, citrus aroma. Substantial, yeasty head and dingy orange color. Hefty mouthfeel. crisp follow-up from the carbonation. later swallows leave it mellow but still complex due to the wheat. It balances a variety of foods. Especially simple Chinese dishes.

Santa cerveja. Cremosa e intensa. Sabor marcante, com toques de banana, cereais e frutas cítricas. Ainda bem que já chegou ao Brasil e está com preço bom. O problema de quem bebe uma Weihenstephaner é que nunca mais vai beber uma Skol.
