Commercial Description:
Nothing refreshes you more than this naturally cloudy wheat beer with its wonderful yeasty fragrance and taste. Goes well with dishes that do not have too intensive a flavour, especially that Bavarian speciality 'Weisswurst' or white sausage.

Pours a hazy yellow-brown with a big white head. Aroma is a nice spicy bannana and bubble gum. Taste is nice as well, with the same flavors coming through as well as some clove all while being extremely smooth. Very good.

Creamy banana and sugar without being overbearingly fruity. Delicious, highly recommended.

02/01 0,5 l draught at Biergarten in Mariazell. Had murky golden body with bigger, creamy, long living head. Wonderful weizen aroma, fruity with banana, orange, some spices and bit of honey. Flavor was sweetish, fruity, but very empty bodied. Occasionally it also was ruined by minor unpleasant vegetable notes. Short and again watery finish, erasing nice aroma quickly. Not bad as it may sound, but missing so much character. I was specially surprised here when saw it is best European Hefeweizen. May rerate it from the bottle some time, although I doubt this was in bad condition.

Pours a hazy light golden color with a rather large head. Aroma of banana, bread, and a little clove. Seems a little dry, but still very good.

A huge creamy, white head sticks to the sides of the glass on this one. A bread and banana with lots of yeast dominate the aroma and flavor profile. Not a huge fan of wheat beers in general, but this is solid, if understated.

Pours out a hazy gold with a creamy white head that disipates quickly. Muted nose of lemon grass, honey dew, banana and clove. The flavour is mostly standard banana and clove with biscuity, wheaty flavours and some lemon zest. Thin bodied, but slightly creamy, effervescent mouthfeel.

Pours a hazy golden with a big frothy white head that dies quick. Big melon, banana in the nose with a minor clove afterthought. Tastes all compliment eachother well. Everything in the nose dances on the palate. Medium and crisp in the mouth. So drinkable its not funny.
