Aug 18, 2009 A hazy orange pour with an incredible head. A straightforward weizen aroma - heavily doughy, bready and a fresh lemon/orange-like acidity. The flavour is of bready and honeyish malts with a sticky yeastiness, bananas and a slight acidity again. Medium to light mouthfeel and pretty strong carbonation, I’d say proper to the style though. This was one of the first beers I bought to enhance my beer-knowledge and I still like it, probably my favourite hefeweizen - please note, I don’t like them overall.

Aug 17, 2009 A cloudy golden beer with a nice 3 finger foamy head. This beer looks really good as you pour it. Aroma of banana, some spice. Taste was some banana & had a nice mouthfeel. This beer does not look lazy & it dances in the glass with the carbonation. This is the most refreshing beer I have ever had & is such a thirst quencher especially if you have been outside in the heat.

Aug 16, 2009 My friend warned me by saying: "Watch out, this stuff just goes down." That’s exactly what this is. Cloudy yellow pour with a white head that fades but never dissapears completely. Smells of wheat wheat wheat with a few subtle notes of spice/corriander. Starts out thin in the mouth but leaves a rich aftertaste and is incredibly refreshing.

Aug 13, 2009 Wow, such a joy for the mouth. Cloudy yellow in appearance. Yeast and citrus to your nose. The taste, OH the taste. Lot’s of layers, there’s yeast, then comes the citrus. The bitterness then nips your palate and leaves your tongue tingling while it mulls it all over and yearns for another sip.

Aug 13, 2009 Updated: Aug 16, 2009500ml bottle. Huge head with big bubbles. Really strong wheaty and spicy aromas, lots of yeast. Slightly cloudy golden colour. Great flavour! Gloriously refreshing. Layers of flavours make way for a very flat tasting finish, which isn’t perfectly in line with my tastes, but the layers of flavour are wonderful. Complex but not intimidating, very good.

Cloudy golden colour with a big long lasting head.
It has a wheaty and spicy aroma with banana and citrus notes.
The flavour is nicely balanced with notes of wheat, banana, citrus and spices.
Very nice hefeweizen.

Aug 12, 2009 white: delicious, wheaty, smooth and sweet. I could drink a dozen of these and want more. Basically the epitome of the Bavarian wheat beer style.
