Commercial Description:
Nothing refreshes you more than this naturally cloudy wheat beer with its wonderful yeasty fragrance and taste. Goes well with dishes that do not have too intensive a flavour, especially that Bavarian speciality 'Weisswurst' or white sausage.

Typical and average hefe all around. That really sums up my opinions on this beer. I know I’m in the minority here. Maybe it’s just me, but almost all good hefes taste the exact same. Sure this one was slightly better than most, but still almost the exact same.

This Hefe Weizen tasted hoppy not sweet, which is what I like, because I usually drink Pilsners. A nice orange-yellow color with a big frothy head, which lasted. Highly carbonated. A great thirst quencher. I paid $7.99 for a 6 pack. So dollar for dollar, you can’t beat this Wheat Ale. Highly recommended.

50cl bottle at De Baiard, Amsterdam, 12-2-07. Cloudy gold-brown with a thick, sustained head. Powerful banana/clove aroma of a good hefe. The flavor is clean and dryer than others I’ve had, and has the accompanying wheat phenols in a refreshing and crisp package. The best weissbier I’ve had yet.

My favorite beer. So rich and complex. I always feel like there are new flavors hiding in every glass of it. This is the template for a perfect wheat beer as it does not overpower you with the fruit or spices but rather balances them with a wheat taste going down and hops taste afterward.

Botle. Pours very hazy yellow. Medium white head, lasts a bit. Smells of bread, spice, the vaguest hint of banana. Tastes of citrus, wheat, spice, with hops bitterness coming in at the end. They’ve been brewing for nearly 1000 years, seems they know what they are doing.

Draught at Freaking Frog, Las Vegas, 6% ABV
Cloudy deep blond color; creamy head. Nice aroma, balanced, with wheat, light spices, very light banana and cookies. Medium body, some sweetness, some spices, wheat; ending quite dry, and with a strong bitterness. Quite good.

bottle 50 cl. Pours a cloudy yellow/golden with a big but very fast-fading white head. The initial taste isn’t even the best of this beer. There is citrus, grass and some banana. But then the long hoppy aftertaste comes in! Really, really good!

A hazed golden orange pour with a thick gooey lacing. Very nice spiced aroma. A fuity flavor with hints of clovve and a lot of bannana. Carbonation is ok but it was a bit fizzy. Palate was solid. A very good offering for the style has alot of the characteristics needed for the style.
