While a great weissbier, it lags behind Denison’s, which I hold as the ideal to achieve. Good amount of lacing with a golden pour. Touch of sugar hidden beneath the primary flavours of banana, cloves and coriander. Clean finish, and a very enjoyable beer. Weissbiers are one of the few lighter beers I enjoy drinking, and this is definitely one of the top I have had the chance to drink. Jordiam (70), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada

Anyways, it pours nice into a nearly opaque, dark yellow/orange with a head that’s nothing special. The nose and taste is VERY similar to Pauliner, so the wheat, citrus, and do I sense some banana? Either way it’s a very nice wheat beer experience with a nice aftertaste, only problem I have with it is that it angers my stomache a little bit, but that’s just me. jeremytoni (1086), Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 28, 2009 On tap at Lunar Brewing Co. Short pour to a Czech-Pils glass. The color was a hazy gold with a white, foamy head and spotty lacing. The nose was soft wheat, banana, and spice... notably clove. The flavor added to these a hint of light fruit sweetness and a very appealing dryness to the finish, which sets it apart and above many other hefes for me. Chipper (185), Red Lion, Pennsylvania, USA
