Jul 18, 2009 Bottled from AH in Mestreech. Color is hazy orange with lively carbonation and enormous white head which leaves thick layered lacing. Looks very nice. Nose is citrus, and sweet banana. Aroma is the same with yeast. The sweet sour composition remains. Very well balanced between sweetness and sour. Very nice!

Jul 17, 2009 Clear pale straw color with a think creamy head. Heady yeasty smell with the spice of cloves and a lots of esters on the back of the pallet, bannana, bubblegum. Taste is a light sweetness followed with a dry bitter. Soft feel with the tingle of champagne carbonation.

Jul 13, 2009 500ml bottle from the LCBO. Not my favorite style, but this one is very nice. Doesn’t clobber you over the head with clove and banana. Very balanced.

does not count  Jul 13, 2009 Bottle from West Lakeview Liquors. Smoothest Hefeweizen I have ever tried but the flavor left me wanting more. Banana aroma traditional to Hefeweizen’s wasn’t very strong and the same could be said for the flavor. Just not what I was expecting from it. On the positive side it pours a beautiful white head and goes down very smoothly. Still a great Hefeweizen but just not my favorite.

Jul 10, 2009 Bottle @ the now out of business La Bodega. Light cloudy yellow, with a big fluffy white head. Aroma is wheat and clove. Flavor is clove, light banana, wheat, a little hop but barely there. A great weizen.
