| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 24, 2009 Poured cloudy golden, with about half a centimetre of foamy white head, that dissipated to a ring around the glass. Lovely aroma of mostly smooth vanilla, with some wheat and a tinge of clove, not overbearing or sickly like some lesser hefe’s are. Flavour is mostly vanilla and a good helping of banana, with a wonderful smooth mouth feel. A very smooth swallow, with a sweet aftertaste that turns dry. I thought Schofferhofer was great, but I think this tops it. Not a big hefeweizen drinker, but if I feel like one this will be the number one choicefor me. Superb. mikalooch (163), , New Jersey, USA
