Colour: Bright golden yellow.
Nose: Wheat, citrus, orange, coriander, cereal.
Flavours: Fruits (banana, orange peel), herbs, toast, yeast. Smooth with just a hint of bitterness (very subtle). This adds to the complexity of the palate.
Finish: Long, mellow, fruity and fresh. Thirst-quenching.
Verdict: The Hefeweizen against which all others should be measured. Truly amazing.

500ml bottle. Almost archetypal hefeweiss. Cloudy pencil yellow, banana wheat aroma, bananas, wheat and a touch of coriander. Good body. Overall, exactly what you’d expect.

hazy amber with a tall foamy head. subtle aroma of dough, banana, citrus and some cereal. well-balanced taste. not bad, but there are much better hefeweizen.

Pours a translucent straw colour with white head that thins. Smells of fruit, citrus, and bananas. Crisp. Tastes crisp. Hints of fruit. A nice wheat beer!

0.5l bottle. Hazy orange body, long lasting white head. Aroma of banana, lemon zest, a hint of toast, bread and pepper. Taste of banana, caramel, bread and pepper with some floral hoppyness in the finish. Very good beer that’s for sure.

Large head, coriander, wheat and banana on the nose. Taste is at times a bit alcoholic.
Very good mouthfeel.

Nothing refreshes you more than this naturally cloudy wheat beer with its wonderful yeasty fragrance and taste. Goes well with dishes that do not have too intensive a flavour, especially that Bavarian speciality ’Weisswurst’ or white sausage.
