Nothing refreshes you more than this naturally cloudy wheat beer with its wonderful yeasty fragrance and taste. Goes well with dishes that do not have too intensive a flavour, especially that Bavarian speciality 'Weisswurst' or white sausage.

From bottle. Cloudy golden color, plenty of fizz. Banana bread aroma. Wonderful flavor of banana, clove, and spice. Refreshing and a favorite.

"My new favourite Weizen. Nose has baked banana/apple and clove ester notes that you would expect, and also a funky whiff of prawn cocktail crisps (“Skips”) that you wouldn’t. Don’t know how much of that is due to this bottle being six months past its ‘best before date’. Very creamy mouthfeel – fuller than Frankiskaner Hefe (sampled simultaneously) – almost bringing to mind vanilla/custard. Slight bitter (aniseed/fennel) vibes floating over a longish finish. " En effet, une hefe weizen typique mais aussi puissante et racée, ŕ mille lieux d’une Paulaner beaucoup plus fade.

Nagy, tartós hab, narancsba hajló, szalmasárga szín. Illata a szokásos, banános, citrusos, búzás. Kissé édeskés, malátás, banános, narancsos ízvilág, közepes szénsavtartalommal. Testes, mégis könnyed, kiváló összhanggal rendelkező, frissítő, nagyon finom sör.

Hazy golden beer with a whtie head and bready, banana-y smell. Sharp on the tongue both due to the carbonation a bit of a zingy citrus hit. Banana, yeast and hops in there too. Perect for a warm day, this is a really good hefeweizen. The taste of banana lingers in the aftertaste.

Cloudy golden color with some powerful activity. Thick foamy white sparkly 3 finger head, lasting around 15 minutes, with strong legs. Sweet grains and citrus smell, a little faint. Flavors of fresh grains, lemon, orange with hints of clove and coriander. Well balanced with a pleasant rich sweet bread taste and a slightly sharp and crispy citrus and herbal feel. Slick full body with perfect carbonation. Well intensified and short clean finish, ending with pleasant floral spices and fruity sugary banana and honey feel lingering on the tongue. Overall an exquisite craft offering complex and delicious flavors, great freshness, extremely well balanced, accessible, and a true joy to drink!

UPDATED: APR 22, 2016 Nagazowanie wysokie – odpowiednie. Średnia pełnia i brak wodnistości. Piwo jest ułożone - można wracać wielokrotnie.

On tap, hazy bright peach color with white head. Nice yeast esters on the aroma with the classic banana and cloves. Taste starts slightly sweet with banana and wheat, not very spiced, really fresh and easy to drink. Full bodied with a good amount of carbonation. Really good hefeweizen, fresh and easy to drink. I can see why it’s considered the original classic.

UPDATED: APR 27, 2016 This is what a hefe is all about. Cloudy with a lingering white head. Nose is yeast and bananas but not overwhelming - doesn’t shout it’s a hefe. Taste is wheat and yeast balanced with light banana. Hops are undetectable but there is a very light bitterness. Half Liter bottle Bring on the cans! This is a state brewery. This must be the best thing any government did apart from protecting citizens, justice, and insuring the playing field is level, which very few do well.
