Commercial Description:
Nothing refreshes you more than this naturally cloudy wheat beer with its wonderful yeasty fragrance and taste. Goes well with dishes that do not have too intensive a flavour, especially that Bavarian speciality 'Weisswurst' or white sausage.

Golden with a huge thick head. Lots of carbonation seen rising from the bottom. Smells like malted wheat and a little spice. Also a little lemon.Taste is heavy of malted wheat, barley, and lemon. Not bitter and just the right touch of alcohol.Carbonation is great. Good aftertaste. This is an immediate favorite.

Could be a bit more crisp. Awesome though overall. Orange, Pear, Apple notes on the yeast. Poured a two finger foam glass. Picked up from my local supermarket. Great Heff!

Pours a cloudy pale golden color with a nice sized foamy head that doesn’t last. Aroma of bread, spice and banana. Flavor starts off with the sweet banana and then you get the malts and spice. Nice carbonation from middle to end. Very smooth. Nice hefe. Ceebs 25 gives a pretty good description of this one.

Best Hefewizen ive sampled by a distance. And my first ’offical’ rating of the style on ratebeer : Very soulful. Banana esters are on drugs in this beer...jumping outta the glass .Vibrant wheatines if that doesnt sound too wanky. Lovely beer.
awesome Wheatbeer.Damn ..damn..damn .addictive banana and spice flavours.Bombastic ...fantastic

A: Wonderful cloudy gold. Huge puffy head, hangs around a long time. S: Cloves, bready, citrus. T: Big spice, cloves, banannas, orange. A bit of a hop spice near the back. M: Super clean, and smooth. Spicyness stays until the next sip, but, while drinking this, it is normally not too long between sips! D: Fantastic. Just as good during a clold winter night, as it is during a hot summer day. This is the world’s standard, for Hefe’s. Hands down.

Cloudy dark yellow pour with lacy white head. Great crisp beer with a sweet finish on the palate.

A: Poured with a nice large, white frothy head that hung around for quite awhile and left excellent lacing behind. Body was cloudy, almost murky, and a dark orange color. S: Great aroma of lemon, orange, light yeast, wheat, and pepper. Lots going on here. T: Nice flavor of wheat, citrus, and spices... the pepper in particular is quite prevalent (say that three times fast). Short duration, which is normal for a hefeweizen. M: Medium-bodied and quite creamy, with average carbonation. D: Hell yeah it’s drinkable. You could put these back all night and never get sick of them. An excellent hefeweizen, and a damned good session beer.

16 oz. bottle- Pours a beautiful cloudy golden with a perfect head and lacing, the aroma is citrus and wheat. The flavor is full bodied, not watered down at all and is probably the best hefe i’ve had, including Spaten Franziskaner, it has a very nice wheaty flavor, no fruit needed. The most thirst quenching beer I’ve had in a long time.
