A nice orange-yellow color with a big frothy head, which lasted. Highly carbonated. A great thirst quencher. I paid $7.99 for a 6 pack. So dollar for dollar, you can’t beat this Wheat Ale. Highly recommended. greenleaf (90), Florida, USA

Aroma is of fruits, citrus, spice, grass. and malt. Aroma smells very refreshing and inviting. Taste starts off with lots of assorted fruit flavors up front. Delicious spiciness with lots of citrus in the body. Each sip finishes with a load of wheat and yeast. Lingering citrus taste. Very light body that drinks very easy. Well-balanced, and very refreshing. I liked it. hillfiiiiire (286), Madison, Wisconsin, USA

Poured a yellow, cloudy color with a huge white head that lasted throughout the drinking. Aroma was rather sweet. It was a wonderfully clean and dry drink with a nice presence of cloves. Definitely my favorite hefe to date. BeMerry (37), Fairfax, Virginia, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Mar 12, 2008 Bottle. Huge creamy head. Light gold. Cloudy. Floral aroma with citrus, malt and a bit of musty cellar. Sweet taste; clove and orange prominent. Slight banana note and bubble gum in lingering aftertaste. Mouthfeel is full with zesty foaming. Delicious! hopeye101 (39), Draughthouse, Texas, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Aug 3, 2008 Poured a 2 finger head into my pint glass (I know I should’ve used my weizen glass, but I have to hand wash that)...
Head dissipated in about 1 minute. Color is straw, slightly cloudy, I even dumped all the yeast into the glass.
Smell: cloves , what else can I say. Kind of like standing in a field of cloves.
Taste: very clovey, some dryness in the back of the mouth. A tad of sweetness trying to get out but the carbonation keeps it back.
Mouthfeel: Another 5. creamy very nice.
Drinkability : that’s what these beers are made for.
This is a very nice beer which showcases Weihenstephan’s amazing hefe yeast. Perfectly done. darkguardian (506), Florida, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Jul 6, 2009 16oz bottle. Awesome yeasty banana aroma with hints of spicy clove. Poured the traditional way (half glass, swirl then pour the rest) it yields a cloudy gold brew with a thin fizzy white head. Carbonation drives forward big yeasty wheat notes with dashes of caramel, clove and cinnamon and tons of banana and bubblegum, slight grass hops on the backend. Complex and layered. I don’t think there are even many german hefe’s that are better than this. JCastner (109), New York, USA

Great summer beer. Nothing bad to say about this one.
