COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Nothing refreshes you more than this naturally cloudy wheat beer with its wonderful yeasty fragrance and taste. Goes well with dishes that do not have too intensive a flavour, especially that Bavarian speciality 'Weisswurst' or white sausage.

It’s been a long time coming for this one. At one time German Hefeweizen was my absolute favourite style and I was dying to be to try this. It was not available in my area until recently. I’m not going to bore you or myself with the obvious. For instance it possess all the natural characteristics of quality German Hefe. It’s got the banana and corriander bouquet. Noticeable lack of "orange" or citrus though. It’s got the cloudy opaque hue. What I do find surprising comes with both the taste and palate. Everything is on point right up until the very end where both taste and mouth feel just drop right off.

Clear notes of banana and clove in aroma, the smell is sweet and a bit sour at the same time. Taste is the same as above however lacks a little punch, no real taste coming off the tounge.

Classic Hefeweizen from the world’s oldest operational brewery. This one has a fluffy head and deep orangey blonde colour, a soft and gentle character with the typical presence of banana and cloves aromas but in a subtle way, a soft and mellow mouthfeel and a somewhat dryish finish. Excellent example of the style.

Pours a cloudy gold with a big white fluffy head that has excellent retention. Nice lacing on the glass. Aoma of banana and yeast. Excellent weissbeer.

Bottle from supermarket. Golden, apricot colour with thick white cream head of good stability. Aroma of sweet oranges, maybe blackcurrant, some spice, some solvent ester character. Relatively low carbonation for the style supports good mouthfeel. Taste starts fruity (oranges again) and ends with spice and moderate bitterness. Enjoyed this.

On tap, pint at Smith Street Taps, Singapore. Lemon grass aroma. Medium sized head and a light amber colour. Light carbonation. Flavours of bananas, clove and a little citrus. Smooth to drink with a nice sweet finish. Pretty consistent wheat beer.

(50 cl bottle from local supermarket poured into Brøckhouse footed pilsner glass; BBD: February 27th 2015) This is not my style really but I recognise good quality when I see it. Pours a hazy golden with plenty of creamy white head and excessively lively carbonation. Good retention and lace. Aroma is banana, cloves, nutmeg, esters and buble gum in a rather well balanced composition. Oily texture, medium to light body and a short and sweet finish. Flavour has aroma notes and a mild sweetness. Okay but would probably prefer it to be served rather cold as I’m not a big fan of the flavour.

This beer is a hazy goldent with a large white head, and the aroma blends wheat, yeast, banana and citrus. The taste is a nice mellow and mild sweetness blended with a slight sourness, and the finish, although not extremely long, is filled with wheat and banana flavor. The mouthfeel makes this beeer purely indulgent witht the thick body, average carbonation, and medium body.

Bottle pour, big white head, cloudy yellow body. Aroma bread, spice, banana, raisin. Flavor is fresh apple, peach, faint ginger, banana, do I taste smoke? Palate is light, carbonation lively.

500 ml bottle. Pours a hazy light amber with moderate head. Aromas of wheat, cloves, banana, and earth. Flavors are similar with more emphasis on fruit, smooth and subtle. Refreshing and easy to drink

Beautiful wheat beer. Sweet, fruity aroma and taste. Great mouth feeling with a lot of bubbles. Best beer on a beautiful day.
